U-Haul Moving & Storage at Grissom Rd

I read some of the more recent reviews and was a bit skeptical, but I had no issues at all when here. Probably took 5 minutes from walking in the door to being in the driver seat of my rental. I guess they didn’t go out of their way to be overly polite or anything (read a lot of reviews about rude customer service and such) but I had no complaints with my interactions, and care more about somebody just doing their job quickly and well, and that’s exactly what I got here. Also, drop off was just as easy and smooth.

Kyle is a skilled and competent at installing tow hitches, thus I recommend this shop to all riders.

He provided me the opportunity to inspect the job, and he provided excellent customer service. Even though it took him only a few minutes, he still went above and above by helping me install my bike rack.

Kyle is doing a fantastic job, which is saying something because customer service appears to be declining elsewhere.

Lucila is a very helpful employee and such a sweetheart as well.
Everyone on the team is also nice and I never run into problems!

My first time renting a U-Haul Experience here was awesome thanks to David and Isaac at this location making everything stress free by helping me understand how my contract worked and answering any questions I had. Thank you for you great customer service both David and Isaac for making my experience here stress free and for being so helpful. Would recommend this location to anyone they have a good customer service team.

This place is the best uhaul location I've been to in a long time. Lots of smiling employees ready to help and lots of trucks and trailers available.

Great service and very nice, courteous staff. Karen checked me in for my reservation of a 15 ft truck and was very nice and helpful. She went over my rental contract thoroughly and explained some features of the truck and tips on driving it. She inspected the 15 ft truck I was assigned to rent and didn't like something about it or thought there may have been an issue that needed to be serviced, so she replaced it with another, newer truck instead. I truly appreciated her looking out for customers like that and being thorough and diligent with her work.

Saw this Roach in one of the Storage Displays in the building. Not bad.

Stopped by with a bad towing wire harness. Seth and Alex helped me out. They took the time to check to see if it was just a bad fuse, trying to save me money. Since it was bad wires, they replaced the harness right then and there. Service was excellent. They were friendly, did a great job. I would definitely highly recommend them if you need anything moving-related or need a tow wiring harness put on! Thanks again, guys!

I thought the customer service was great. First time I went in to reserve a truck I came into the store ten minutes before they were to close but the guys in there were very sweet to help me out anyway. They didn't make me feel like I was imposing. Then when I picked up the truck they helped me sign up for a storage unit, answered all my questions and even switched out the truck for me when I needed one with a ramp even though we had to redo the paperwork. I like this place and highly recommend it

Very friendly staff and clean, well organized facility. I've rented trucks and trailers from here and always find the equipment well maintained. Their storage facility is air conditioned and price competitive. And I especially appreciate being able to get propane at a fair price seven days a week. My favorite U-Haul place for over 20 years.

Truck rental was easy and they were very helpful. I also had a storage unit there. When I had problems with the unit above leaking into my unit , they immediately took action. Cleaned up my unit, reboxed items and gave me 3 months Free rental. I'd definitely use them for my storage and truck rental needs.

I had a trailer hitch installed on an 09 Sierra. The guys were friendly and really helpful. When I got home I noticed a pin on the connector was bent and they replaced it as soon as I went back. It really wasn't more than 30 minutes later.

They always have the mattress bags and specialty shaped/sized boxes in stock when the other locations don’t. I haven’t rented a truck or storage unit from this location

I rented a trailer in Minnesota and dropped it off here in San Antonio the drop-off procedure was as simple as ABC they checked my lights and said okay you're good to go fantastic selection of vehicles and trailers to read this is the place you to go to if you're moving
