Dilettante Mocha Café at Kent Station

Great little coffee shop. The scones were delicious. Hubby liked his coffee and my hot chocolate was just okay. They have a numbering system for how much chocolate flavour you want. I went with "milk" chocolate since I'm not a dark chocolate fan. In my personal opinion, that was steamed milk that was only kissed by chocolate. Not enough flavour to actually call it chocolate. So if you're a chocolate fan, order a higher number than the milk chocolate!

The employees here are really nice, they held on to my computer while I went to the restroom across the street, since they don't have one inside. I got a Vienesse Mocha, it was really good, not too sweet. The place has a lot of seating area, it's good for studying and working on a laptop. I will come here again.

Such a cute cafe with tons of seating inside and outside. The girl was super sweet and gave us a puppucinno for my dog. The Mocha sooooo good and yummy. The whip cream was thick and tasted like good vanilla :)

Used this venue as ameet up for a blind date. Excellent service, clean atmosphere, decent coffee... only complaint is too much foam and not enough coffee.

Great store in Kent Station. Nice place to set outside and drink your coffee or favorite beverage. There is a huge fireplace for the cold mornings! Fall is upon us grab a cup of coffee and veg out in front of the fire!

I had only ever been to the Dilettante in the airport, but am so glad I decided to try this a month ago. My boyfriend started a new job nearby and we share a car, so it is the perfect spot to spend the morning. Lots of folks working & studying here— great atmosphere for that.

I now come here several times per week and what stands out to me above all is the quality of the employees. Every single barista who works here raises the bar, compared to all the coffee shops around me (I live in Ballard). Especially the woman with blonde hair/side ponytail and glasses. She is delightful! Her excellent service (along with all the staff here) are what keep me coming back. Truly impressed! Keep up the great drinks & terrific hiring!

Mocha Vizio - darker, bitter and pairs well with the blueberry scone or your choice of pastry.

This coffee shop, hands down has been the best coffee shop I have been to in the Seattle area. Most places seem to have a high turn over rate and since moving to Kent about 3 years ago, I have been consistently greeted by the same baristas which is always nice and rear to see. And not only are they the same baristas but they are very consistent in their customer service and pleasantness. I say this having lived in the Seattle area throughout the years and visiting just about every chic coffee shop in the area, this is definitely the best one I have been to. Thank you for providing such great service.

They have the most delicious iced mochas. It's a cozy little store with its own feel to it. It's set at Kent station, a small outdoor mall that is one of my favorite places to relax.

Good, small coffee shop in the heart of Kent. I highly recommend the Mocha Vizio, with the coconut macaroon or a raspberry truffle 👌

When I want to treat myself, I head to Dilettante's for a Mocha! I'm a dark chocolate fan , and their Extra Dark Micha is my all-time favorite, while my sister prefers the Milk Chocolate Mocha. The service is great, and we love the chill atmosphere. If it's not raining, we'll sit outside at the outdoor gas fire! Highly recommend!!

Nice coffee, nice ambience, amazing and welcoming employees. Cool place to plug in your headphones and do heads down work on your laptop while sipping coffee. Nice to see a coffee place that’s not another Starbucks nearby.

Very nice indoor/outdoor environment for meetings, private work,etc. Interesting drink selection for chocolate drinks and outlets for laptops.

I’ve been meaning to check this place out since I live nearby and I wish I did sooner! I did an online order and was greeted by a friendly barista who promptly helped direct me to my order. Mocha frappe was so good, it didn’t taste too sugary overall - the chocolate drizzle added the perfect amount of sweetness. The sausage breakfast sandwich was made perfectly too! They also made a pup cup complete with a biscuit treat for my dog.

I love this place. Not only is their coffee amazing, but their signature sipping chocolate is out of this world. I love getting some to help warm me up when it's later and cool outside. It's always great that they offer free chocolate covered coffee beans with any order. So awesome and all the employees here are super sweet and helpful. I will be a Customer for life!!!!

This place is in a nice outdoor mall area, that looks exclusive. Most of the coffee is fantastic! I had the dark chocolate exresso...so rich and yummy! I went back twice! It's a small seating area also, with bar stools in the window.The service was very friendly ! They have candy gifts and sweets for sale as well! The outdoor fireplace and seating is very inviting! I'll go back there again and again!!!

Due to moving i had not been here in a few years. Prior to covid I was working in Seattle off of I believe it was 8th Ave and I would go to a Dilettante that was near by.

For whatever reason the business closed before covid. I really missed them because they carried a variety of coffee drinks that Starbucks and Peets' coffee did not carry.

I really appreciate where this coffee stand is located. There is plenty of room inside to sit, and there is out doors sitting as well. There is even a fire place/pit outdoors to sit around.

There is a wide variety of snack,pastries, sandwiches, for all of you chocolate lovers Dilettante carries their very own chocolate. They even incorporate it in some of their coffee drinks.

I always order a 12 oz breve ( made with half and half) latte with raw sugar. It was delicious, full bodied and without the bitterness. The price was reasonable.

Very nice batista and great coffee. There's also a fireplace right outside. Definitely pay them a visit if you're in the area. PS: they are quite strict about covid vaccine 2 shots required protocol which is nice!
