Wow what an experience! The place is very welcoming. I had my Canik shipped here For FFL transfer and couldn't be more happy. Mark and Rider provided excellent choices in accessories and service. It was so good I ended up with another purchase.

I wish there were more than 5 stars. I made a purchase by phone for my husband's birthday, and Noemi made that whole experience very pleasant. When we went into the store to pick that up, we left with an early Mother's Day present for me. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back, and I highly recommend The Gun Shack. Thank you!!!

I had the most amazing experience with Gun Shack, there employees were highly experienced and very knowledgeable and very nice. As I was filling out the application I asked the employee for some help and he did not make me feel that I didn't know how I just needed a little help and very nicely help me out. Lee and Mark did a GREAT job at getting me my firearm. These 2 guys were very helpful receiving and inspecting my weapon. I have always used The Gun Shack as my FFL. These guys know their stuff and are always helpful, they provide good info to extend your shooting experience. They've also got lots of fun stuff in store for your weapon.

Great experience, even just stopping in for a transfer. They made the process very easy and didn’t seem annoyed by the process. They treat their customers well and will not pressure you into something you’re not 100% comfortable with. Definitely will be my new go to spot.

Oh yes, it has believe it or not, there is a gun store in Bandera that I pass up. I left several messages but heard nothing from them.

Gun Shack is a pretty awesome place, the staff are friendly, informative & helpful. Lee in particular makes each visit a pleasure, if you want a gun store to be your one stop shop go here. That & the prices plus the selection beats most other places I’ve seen.

I got an itch to buy a gun and had it ship to the nearest dealer to me (Gun Shack). I walked in and immediately got eye contact, a head nod, a wave of a hand, and a very soft "welcome in" as all of their employees were busy on the phone, filling out paperwork with other customers, and had their hands full at 4pm on a Friday. This was awesome to walk in and be acknowledged
immediately. The world is not often like that anymore. After a quick 60 seconds or so, Lee got my attention from gazing at their large selection of accessories and started getting me taken care of. He was calm, professional, humble, and welcoming to my excitement of a new semi auto shotgun I grabbed from a sale online and was excited over. He brought the box out and showed me the box had been bumped around and let me inspect it and probably realized I am not a gun pro. He went through a quick release and feed of the magazine to double check none of those components were "rattled" or damaged, since I skipped over that part by strictlylooking over the exteriorcomponents of the gun. It has been about 5 years since my last gun purchase through a big box store (Academy), but he thoroughly went through the background paperwork and submitted it off. Within about 10-15mins I was able to walk out with my new purchase of All American Freedom with a grin on my face and knowing that I will definitely be back here for just about anything. Lee was free to give me some insight and knowledge on breaking in my new gun, what type of ammo works best for different scenarios, and was extremely humble. I will never do a big box store purchase again, simply because the one on one customer service I got here, in such a short amount of time, with a full floor of guests for majority of the time I was in their shop. I'll be back for magazines and optics along with some good ol handshakes and knowledge from the crew behind the counter, especially Lee. Thanks Gun Shack!

I am 52 years old, and over time have come to really appreciate GREAT customer service. The Gun Shack is where you will find EXCEPTIONAL Customer Service! Naomi and Wolf are second to none when it comes to anything guns, suppressors, just knowledge in general... Naomi's assistance in navigating suppressor purchase, gun trust, ATF certification has been amazing!
