What can I say other than go here and get some great food. You get ALOT of food for the price you pay (cash only). We had to get to go boxes and it looked like we barely touched our food. That's how much food it was for each dish!

Wow a great find for authentic taiwanese food! Got the fried chicken and rice for a quick bite. $5 for one entree and rice. Really surprised with the big portion and it was really yummy and authentic tasting, just like food in Taiwan. I've been told food runs out quickly here so come here on the earlier side for dinner if you can 5-6pm. Highly recommended so come here! Cash only

Absolutely amazing food. I did the pick 3 entree special for $10. They serve it with 2 scoops of rice on a metal tray that made me feel like a kid eating cafeteria lunch in taiwan. None of the dishes you pick from are labeled, so i just guessed what might be good and pointed - all of it was delicious.
Note its cash only, there is self-serve soup for dine in, and you clean your table yourself before leaving.

This is of the best authentic meal you can get for $9 (which used to be $7)! It’s simple, you pick 3 entrees and rice, all for 9 BUCKS! Want some boba? Get it for an extra $1.50 with the meal. Make sure to bring cash though!

My favorite is spicy fish, green beans, and fried chicken! There are so many options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The food is authentic and tastes amazing, my Taiwanese boyfriend’s family loves them! The owners are friendly and handled COVID-19 so well. I always get to go, but the dine-in tray looks great & even more filling than the togo boxes. There is free soup if you dine in so that’s a plus!

If you visit during the weekend brunch hours (11-2 PM), then you can order some hot sweet soy milk and you tiao along with other classic Taiwanese breakfast dishes. Even though the prices went up due to inflation, it’s still worth it because one combo meal can last you up to 2 meals!

Ps; Don’t forget to try their shaved ice dessert as well! It’s just your typical Taiwanese shaved ice with condensed milk and sugar syrup, but you get to pick 4 different toppings from the list— all for $7!

[10/12/2022][$9] this really my ideal Chinese restaurant, very efficient. You select 3 items and a rice. I had a fish, tofu, and fried veggies. They were all tasty. They aren’t your typical orange chicken or general tso. You need bring cash.
[8/15/2021] [$8] This place doesn’t need my recommendation or endorsement. The place has a waiting line, and I can see why. Food is good. This mapo tofu is excellent. Portion is generous. I paid $8 for the 3 items entre. This place uses spice combination that I am not used to. They aren’t red pepper spices, what I can tell you…. There enough varieties in this buffet-like dining. I like.

This little Chinese Mom & Pop shop has become a favorite for over 2 years. We almost always get their Steamed Beef Buns, Steamed Pork Buns, and Potstickers. Recently we tried one of the Vegetables Noodle dishes, and it was a HUGE hit with my 3 little kids. They're always serving up good, fresh made dishes that keep us coming back for more. The staff are warm and welcoming, and kind. They've even taken to learning our faces by our usual order, which actually is kind of nice. Our 3 kiddos love coming here for their Potstickers, and their Egg Drop Soup they serve.

It is DEFINITELY a great stop in, if you love Chinese food and want a low energy environment.

Looking for cheap and good eats? Look no further. 3 entrees for only $7. Add a bubble tea for an extra dollar. The food is home style with stir fried items to stewed and braised items. On weekend they offer Chinese/Taiwanese style breakfast items such as soy milk with fried cullers, pan fried buns and numerous other items. The place is a hole in a wall but the owners are friendly and good yummy home style cooking.

We usually order entrees off the menu and the portions are large and enough food for a couple of meals.

I have eaten here since the 1990s and since moving away in 2018, I try to grab a meal every time I'm in town! I should be more adventurous but it's almost always eggplant, mapo dofu and Kung Pao chicken. Occasionally I eat the steamed egg with shrimp and peas but only when they're out of eggplant.

Quick with 3 entrees big portion. Salty rick roll was the taste I’ve been looking for long time here.

Super fast, fresh, and fabulous price. The locals know this place well for sure. (We counted two non-asian customers at the time of our visit, meaning one of us and one at the next table.)

Like the good food and all kinds of drink, reasonable prices and the family style.
Always go there with families.

Good and cheap food! But is currently closed due to the violation of code of ordinances, hopefully they will open back soon.

I love the shaved ice here. They are friendly and family owned.

This is another place that has been on my list to try. I absolutely loved it! The owners are from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I was able to order my dish in Mandarin Chinese, which made me very happy! I got the spicy beef noodle soup. I forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry. But the presentation of the dish was beautiful and it was a nice serving size.

The service was great and I look forward to my next visit!

It’s the hole in the wall restaurants that are the best. The couple here are so sweet. The food is absolutely amazing! It’s the most authentic taiwanese food I’ve had in America. The tea is fresh and super tasty. They have three cup chicken and all of the comfort foods of Taiwan! Definitely worth stopping by.

I came near the end of lunch service so the food was not fresh but it was still worth it. $10 for 3 entrees and rice.

Taiwan Cafe had some fiercely delicious food.
It was so good that I just had to order dinner later.

OMG. Finally a Chinese (and Taiwanese) place I can enjoy! I haven’t eaten Chinese food for 15 years because it’s all breaded and sugared. Not this place. Come one, come all. I am very pleased. Quite tasty!

Authentic and delicious. Tastes just like the breakfast restaurants in China.
