Preschool of Performing Arts

I cannot say enough about this school. My daughter blossomed here and now has such high confidence. She is learning how to read and sounds out the words very well. In the mornings, they also have either ballet, jazz or art daily and that was her favorite long before the academics started clicking for her. She enjoys afternoon Spanish lessons so much and loves teaching us all that she knows. The Preschool of Performing arts consistently has amazing teachers who are dedicated to the children. Such a fun place to play and be very prepared for kindergarten with confidence and joy. Plus, I'm not spending an 45 minutes driving back and forth from Katy each day!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our precious school! My daughter is learning so much; she will be reading before kindergarten. The curriculum is very impressive. They are taught ballet and jazz weekly. The classes are very small, which I truly appreciate. Our school is a little family.

We had an amazing experience at this school! My daughter learned so much in her 3 years here and I find that she is above the level of many of her peers, all while learning dance skills during school hours as well! The teachers were always very loving and cheerful and the curriculum was excellent. It is a small school so all the teachers and students interact often and get to know one another like family.

Fulshear Preschool of Performing Arts has been such a blessing to my family. My youngest thrived there. She learned so much. So thankful they were able to open during this pandemic. Such a blessing! Highly recommend school!

I have taught preschool ages for over 7 years and been in administration at a preschool for a year. I feel an obligation to post this review, something I have never done for any employer of mine before. Because I wish to give potential employees and prospective parents seeking child care an accurate insight into the extreme mismanagement at this school. With my accumulative knowledge from teaching and administrative roles, I have observed the following while working at this school:

The director of this school…
-is extremely unorganized and unprofessional in behavior
-has little business sense having made many poor management decisions that affected staff and the success of the school
-has failed to pay some staff the hours/pay they were promised
-has little classroom teaching experience herself and therefor has a misguided idea of the best age appropriate teaching practices for young children
-seems to have little care for staff members and often lies to them and places faulty blame on them
-does not show affection or genuine care for children
-does not fulfill many state required Director duties up to Childcare licensing standards, including things that can affect safety of those in the school such as emergency drills.
-dishonestly fails to implement activities she advertises are offered to students
-does not exhibit necessary and appropriate communication skills with staff and parents, which causes many problems.

All this said, the children at this school are well taken care of and loved by the other staff members of the school as they are excellent teachers and genuinely love children. It is sad to see what has potential to be a great school, slowly decline in success since working here due to very poor management by fault of the Director alone.
