Haymaker Forest

This is a great piece of woodland with opportunity to build several nice hiking trails and even a local campsite.

I'm looking forward to increased taxes that will help make a new park in between two other parks. We don't need to fund Police and Fire pensions or even fix the roads. We need this green space! It will also greatly increase my homes property value. I love that the city council has a lawsuit against them over buying this property and they're still going to do it anyway. They're really thoughtful like that. They don't need to listen to the citizens, they know what's best for us! I love my city council.

I'm so happy that our council and city staff think we as a community NEED another green space. Even though at the tip of haymaker forest just across Dorsey Ave. we have White Park that has a very large green space and is well developed in to parks and walking trails. There is a very nice trail that goes around the Cobun Creek Reservoir but yes please council please buy this piece of land for 5x the amount its worth just to line the pockets of one of your members and to have a piece of land that this city really doesnt need.

I like this property how it is.  I don't understand why it cost millions of dollars for the city to buy it to make it a 'green space' when it's already a green space.

Beautiful place to walk my dogs and hike secluded trails.

Another new park in Morgantown for the homeless to plant their flag all while the cities roads and infrastructure are crumbling.
