Building a new home, I called MUB regarding a sewer line & water line. The orginal placement of the sewer line, could not be done / installed, Jarrad figured it out , had to connect into another line 90 feet away, it cost me more but he saved me a major financial set back. Thank you !

I had an issue with being overcharged for my water, and was hesitant to contact due to previous reviews. I emailed the customer service contact this weekend and spoke with Amy, the Customer Service Supervisor, yesterday. Amy was very kind and polite and helped me understand the issue, had an employee come read my meter the same day, and followed up with a solution this morning. I have never had a better customer service experience, especially via email, with a utility company before. Very pleased with my experience!

During the polar vortex, I woke up and had no running water. After googling how to fix it, I started at the furthest pipe with a hairdryer to thaw out the pipes. I finally made it to the main shutoff but didn't find the blockage. I called MUB. He was here within 20 minutes. It was a frozen water meter. So he thawed it out by lighting a fire under it. That did it. I got a text from MUB saying that it was fixed 30 minutes after I first called. They were busy but for me it was fast and did the job. He insulated the meter because if it happened once, it will happen again. Thanks global climate change.

I called to set up an account in order to transfer services into my name for a rental unit I am moving into. As soon as the customer service rep got my payment information for the account fee and confirmed the payment went through, she hung up on me. I immediately called back to file a complaint and to ask all the questions I had that the previous rep did not seem to care about. I ended up being connected to a supervisor who was helpful in hearing out my complaint and answering my questions. However, paying $125 to open an account is absolutely ridiculous, especially when the average bill quoted to me is lower than this amount. As a single person, I will end up paying for water I am not using based on these estimates for minimum usage, as others have mentioned. Too bad there are not more service provides to choose from, because I would.

Are you looking to get ripped off? Are you tired of dealing with sensible people? Come on down to MUB, which stands for “Mug U Blind!” They’ll take your regular bill and multiply it by 10! Says your bill was paid in cash? No it wasn’t! It’s their misleading way of saying ‘go screw yourself’ with a surprise bill 3 months later! Still not convinced? Their below average customer service will never offer any real help! These sinister yes-men will deflect more than SBF with FTX! They know you can’t get your water from anywhere else so why wouldn’t they make your life awful! Deal with these crooks today for a worse tomorrow!

I would give -5 if it were possible. I am in a loop. Since 2021 they don't send e-mail notifications of my bill. They have a new system. All I get are those yellow notices that mean that you must pay immediately with a 10 percent penalty added each time.

Worst. Will never use again. I had an automatic payment come out and then was double charged the same exact amount again. My old roommate and I have contacted them via email and phone continuously for the past 6 months. No progress or refund has been made! They have ignored us and pretended that the employee I have been in contact with doesn’t exist there! They are scammers. Do not use this company.

The only reason this company even deserves 1 star is that the gentleman that I've been dealing with is very patient and kind, and because there is no option for 0 stars. I gave MUB the outrageous $700 deposit for the water tap on my newly built home over a month ago. They didn't hesitate to cash that check right away, but 5 weeks later and I still don't have the meter, therefore no water. I am now being told that it could still be at least another 2 weeks!!! This is literally the only thing keeping me from moving into my new home! If they don't have the employees to cover work that needs done in a timely manner, then they need to hire more employees. It's been this way for YEARS, so I don't buy the shortage of workers excuse.

If you are building a new home, you will hear various companies mention how slow MUB is. They are telling you this for a reason. MUB is, well, unlike any company which has competition. I have been to the MUB office twice and don't feel even close to completing their paperwork in a way that satisfies them. I'm not angry as I was warned about MUB. Hope this info helps anyone trying to build a home.

They deserve negative stars, I have cancelled multiple times and they are still charging my account for a property I have not lived at for 7 months. I am just gonna force a stop payment at this point because i see no other options

They charge for water you don't even use, I believe a minimum of 3000 gallons a month. That's a ton of water for 2 people in an apartment. I've never gone over the minimum usage so I'm literally paying for nothing. It's a shame when the water bill is the highest bill in the house. They also don't offer extensions if say your shut off is on a Wednesday and you get paid on a friday.
