Oak Creek Cafe

I stopped for lunch on a Saturday and was seated immediately. I ordered the burger with a side of fries. The burger was tasty and well seasoned and the fries were perfectly salted and piping hot. The service was kind and prompt. The owner came through and stopped at several tables being friendly and making sure everything was as it should be. Good visit, I highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. The 2 egg breakfast and biscuits and gravy were delicious! The staff were very friendly, fast and efficient. The caricatures on the walls were cute! Thanks to the staff for a wonderful morning!

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Homemade ranch dressing on the salad, perfect gravy on the hamburger steak, amazing service, extremely friendly atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. It's just an awesome spot, and I can't wait to stop by again. Highly recommended, and I'm not one to give such high praise easily.

Great little Cafe! The service was prompt and friendly. The menu is one page and refined so the kitchen makes quality food QUICKLY!

There's little caricatures all over the walls from a local patron and it really gives a lot of character to the place!

Can't miss, really. I had the hill country omelet with their buttery biscuits and couldn't have been more satisfied.

This place was great! The food comes in what I call "Kelly's" sized portions (Kelly's Country Cooking). The service was really welcoming as well. Everything is made to order. The fruit bowl was physically pleasing just as much as it was delicious. I was visiting from Houston trying to find a good spot to have breakfast. And I gotta say I'll for sure be back, and will bring the whole family! Highly recommend trying it!

In Dripping Springs, Texas....Just West of Weird, close to Austin, Tx!! Homestyle cooking,very friendly staff and management!! The place is clean,the food is great and the folks are fine!! My only complaint....I couldn't eat it all!! We will be back!! Next time, maybe better weather and try the patio!! God bless your small business!! Everyone eat and shop local!!💝 It was a beautiful drive through the Texas Hill Country to get there!!

This place was so awesome! I really enjoyed this place. We were coming back from the Hamilton Pools, and this just hit the spot! I want really sure about the quality of food but the food here is absolutely delicious! I was quite surprised! I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, okra and onion rings! Needless to say, everything was quite delicious! I savored every bite! Even the tea and coffee was great! Our server, Jenna was so sweet and very friendly- she made the experience so much better! I like the decorations, especially the posters of Willie Nelson and other musicians - very sweet! The outside entrance is so sweet with the horse bench! Thank you and I'll definitely be coming back! I'm so glad I home-cooked meals- finally!

You see the wall of shame illustrations right away and become curious about the history of this place and its connections to the 80's just by walking inside. One kid even had 2 illustrations of him... What is the story there?

Anyway, great food. Loved the burger and fries and the ice tea cup is massive! I ate everything and I almost never do in one sitting. I don't remember being hungry but boy it was a good burger. Sorry fries are half gone by the time I took the photo.

This is an amazing little spot. The atmosphere is very inviting, as of you were in a small town. The waitress was very friendly and even had some suggestions for us. I would highly suggest checking this spot out. You HAVE to try the Banana

Came here for breakfast while in town. Ordered the skillet breakfast with sausage. It was a huge order! Absolutely delicious food! Highly recommend

The Friday catfish basket special was reasonably priced and very tasty! I normally do not like hushpuppies, but Oak Creek Cafe's are excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, old-time Dripping Springs. I highly recommend Oak Creek Cafe.

Good food, big portions, friendly service, what else can you ask for. Daniae was very nice, we talked about sitting on the patio (under construction) but she was so nice we decided to stay inside. Great spot for breakfast in the hill country.

A quaint restaurant offering delicious homestyle meals. Great place for Friday seafood.

We randomly picked this place for breakfast while on a road trip. A very nice family atmosphere. The staff made us very comfortable and feel at home.

My second time here. First was first fried fish during lunch. Great meal! This time for breakfast. Just as good! If you're in the area, highly recommend you give this place a try

Had the pleasure of getting breakfast at Oak Creek Cafe. I ordered migas and added chorizo to it and it was delicious! Came with breakfast potatoes and beans on the side. My friend had an omelet as big as the plate with hash browns and toast and she said she would order it again! Server was great! Great value for your money. Highly recommend it!

Best hamburger! Unassuming spot with a great menu. Wine and beer menu is fantastic. Super attentive staff.

Drove through Dripping Springs while on vacation near by and ended up going twice while in town. Only regret is that I was only able to go during breakfast so I didn't get the whole menu. Very friendly and strong mimosas. Chicken fried steak and pancakes are thicker than Oprah in '92.

I love delicious home made diner style breakfast and this place did not disappoint. Great service staff too and the price for food is a winner too.
