I can’t recommend highly enough everyone at Oak Creek Dental. From reception, to the hygienists to Dr Tom. Our whole family enjoys trips to the dentist! Can you imagine that ever being said?!

The staff is completely accommodating, professional, perform timely follow ups and my hygienist Sammie has a remarkable dental touch during cleanings that has to be experienced to be believed. I’ve heard all hygienists at Oak Creek have this ability. Extremely rare in this profession! Dr Tom is personable and a generous professional.

Oak Creek is the best! I truly dread the dentist, but the staff was so kind and helpful. My hygienist manually cleaned by teeth, instead of using the ultrasonic water thing, due to my sensitivity, and the x-rays were some of the least painful I've had in decades. Doctor was kind and talked me through all the x-ray details, which I've never had anyone do before. Great experience!

This is a very impressive place! Everything there is top notch.
Dr. Tom Greene does excellent and very compassionate work!
He also keeps you informed at every step of the procedure while he is performing it.
Furthermore, I have never had such careful, thorough teeth cleanings done at any other places. So nice!

Oak Creek Dental is the best dental care I and my family have had in many years. It is hard to find a dentist and staff that cares about you as a person, that does not charge the maximum possible fees for every piece of gauze and paper towel, then Dr. Tom and his team are who you want to see. The entire team gives you the best possible care, from the three Registered Dental Hygienists all the way to the Office Manager and staff. When you need top dental care asap, this is absolutely the team to go see. What a pleasant surprise it is when I find a service that is so perfect it makes me want to tell all my friends about it. Yours is just that type. EVERYONE in your office is pleasant, and efficient, and makes a visit to a dentist a pleasure instead of an unpleasant experience. All questions were answered, the technicians talk to you telling you what they are doing and why, and when I departed I did so with a pleasant smile on my face. That is more than just good workers, it is also good management~! Can I bring my dog Tami next time, she need a teeth cleaning~!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and I got a thorough cleaning. I had to switch from a different local dentist that no longer took my insurance, and I just wish I had done this sooner! The whole staff is kind.

A little drive outside of Austin, but definitely worth it. We had some bad experiences with dentists close to our home in Sunset Valley, recommending and performing unnecessary work. We found Oak Creek dental and LOVE it. Great experiences from the front desk, hygienist, and dentist. Recommended to a friend of ours who thought the drive was too far at first. She tried them and told us, “I loved them. It was definitely worth the drive!” I couldn’t agree more.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the services that we received from Dr. Tom Greene and his friendly staff. Dr. Greene, is very professional and takes time to explain everything. Oak Creek, gets five stars in; staff, bedside manners, punctuality, honesty, knowledge and professionalism.

I went to a Dentist in Austin who was friendly but ended up telling me I needed thousands of dollars of work done without much explanation. I was Referred here from a co worker and the service was top notch. They don’t recommend treatments and work you don’t actually need. They are honest and take the time to talk to you about your care. The dentist and hygienist were both personable and kind. Highly recommend for their ethics and customer service!

My wife and I have been patients for about 2 years after moving into area. Highly skilled dentist and staff! Tom, Sammy, ... have taken excellent care of my wife and me. Skilled craftsmen type of dentist - as measured by being one of the first dentists to get it right the first time on a crown replacement for her. Open with the patient on all options and especially preventive measures. Does not push work/revenue like other "city" dentists I have encountered at different times in my life. Overall, one more fabulous leader and team to add to our list of what makes the Dripping Springs area special!

I'm from the Netherlands, where I had universal healthcare and where I never had to worry if my dentist was doing procedures only to make money off me. That changed coming to the U.S.

I went to a dentist about 17 years ago in McAllen and another one in Austin about 10 years ago.

This last dentist told me my teeth were a mess and that, to begin with, my old fillings (meaning my Dutch silver fillings) all had to be redone as they were bad and had decay around and under them. Redoing the fillings in my molars would not leave much of them intact and I would therefore need to have crowns on all my molars.

He wanted to schedule appointments for all 8 but we started with 2 because they were expensive. He ground them down and gave me temporary crowns which came loose straight away and the permanent crowns didn't stick either, so I never went back. I decided I'd rather wait to see how long my awful molars would last instead of having them ground down and right away having no more molars.

Fast forward 10 years and I knew I really needed to see a dentist. I dreaded it because apart from those two molars that were made useless, I hadn't had anything done in 17 years and surely my teeth were a mess and I expected to have to pay lots of money. I also braced myself for an argument over my remaining 6 molars.

I asked on Nextdoor which dentist people trusted in the area and Oak Creek Dental showed up the most.

I went there and to begin with the assistant took lots of photos. Then Dr. Tom Greene came in and we went over my photos and he showed me there wasn't anything wrong with my fillings and that my teeth looked fine. Then he took his time looking at my actual teeth and gums as well and no, everything was just fine. I didn't even have any new cavities! I couldn't believe it and I kept asking, But what about here? And don't I have any cavities there? He had several opportunities to say, Well, now that you mention it... and then present me with a $1,000 bill, but he kept assuring me that everything was just fine. (Except for those molars. He said it was no wonder those crowns hadn't stuck because there was hardly anything to stick them to because the molars had been ground down to almost nothing.) All I needed was a cleaning.

Dr. Greene will show you on your photos what's going on with your teeth, IF anything is going on, and he won't talk you into surrendering your teeth just to make a buck. They also take my insurance and everyone is friendly. So long story short, I definitely recommend Oak Creek Dental!

My family and I had a great experience at Oak Creek Dental! The staff is warm and friendly. The office has been beautifully remodeled and is very clean. This was the most thorough and informative evaluation of my teeth and gums I have ever received! Dr. Tom Greene is extremely knowledgable and has a great sense of humor. What a caring team they have at Oak Creek Dental! Everytime I visited they were friendly, professional and timely. The assistants and Dr listen and don't make you feel judged even if there was a gap between cleanings. I highly recommend them!
