Retro Emporium

This place is so cool! It really feels like stepping into your childhood again, so much fun stuff. They have retro video games, Pokemon, Care Bears, Sanrio, Mario, and so much more. They even had a spot in the back for vinyls and music. Such a fun spot!!

This is such a great retrogaming store! It has so many beautiful merch, consoles, games, and toys. They also have candies and ice cream. People here are very nice!

I can't believe it took me this long to find this place. What an incredible shop. An absolute must for any 80s/90s collector. An expansive collection, beautifully curated with just the right mix of visual abundance but not clutter.
They've got everything from VHS to toys to records to clothes. Well worth the drive from Seattle.

The owner curated an amazing selection of 70's through the early 00's Pop Culture Collectables and media! It has a little something for every part of the timeline! There things for everyone from toys, records, books, movies, and clothes! Oh and the candy from your childhood!! Also the place smells like cereal! Pokemon Galore!

Oh man, I found this place while walking my dog in downtown Kent. Very well curated selection of everything 80's and 90's. They also have a few really cute new items like earrings and stickers. Such a fun store. And, they let me shop with my terrier! Will definitely be stopping back for games in the back room.

What an unexpected discovery while traveling and just walking by! Saw ‘star wars’ from the window, entered the store and got lost in the childhood 👶🏻 Buying from the local owners, chatting, getting to know... made a great memory. I’m coming back to spend more time and $ here, while I’m in Kent.

Absolutely LOVE this place! There's so many fun, nostalgic things they offer! It's all lovingly and smartly organized, making it very easy to find your favorite fandom. The couple running the place are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And we even got this PRECIOUS set of Pokemon tea cup figures! 💖 Easily our new favorite nerd-shop since moving to the area!

Really nice place, and not super expensive for a lot of the stuff :] i am a big fan of mlp so i'm hoping to get a few of the older gen ponies they have here

Eclectic selection of retro goodies. Games, movies, books, merch, if it was popular during the 80s or 90s there is a pretty good chance it has some representation at this shop.

I can’t believe that I’ve been living in this area for 18 years and haven’t heard of this store yet! I went in with my family last week and it is easily one of my most favorite shops. Excellent selection of pretty much anything you could think of- I ended up getting a beautiful Spirited Away movie poster and I plan to come back on Wednesday to spend my paycheck (Hopefully not all of it, though this store will definitely be hard not to! 😂) The employee that was working there when I went was extremely kind and answered any questions that I had. I wish I had known about them sooner! Will definitely be back many times.

Hands down, the coolest store in Kent!! Such a fun walk down memory lane for this Gen X'er. Highly recommend for anyone who remembers using rotary dial phones and watching movies on a VCR...or truly for anyone who loves music, collectibles and all things retro. Please support this small business....we are so lucky to have them in our community!!

I’ve bought multiple retro games and various other pieces of nostalgic memorabilia and have always had a positive shopping experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and I highly recommend this store for anything retro.
