Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center Seattle Renton

Not the elegance of a five star but everything was clean, staff was helpful and professional, courteous. Shuttle was well organized and timely to the airport. The only complaints would be the doors and attentiveness of the service at the American styled cafe-restaurant. But they just transitioned to new management so one can hope that this will improve. Food was good and value priced. Rooms and fitness area were clean but the running machines has serious slippage if you want to jog on them. Need to fix that before a lawsuit happens.

Before arriving at this hotel for my stay, I had read through dozens of online reviews. I was a bit nervous to stay based on various remarks made in the reviews. I would just like to say that from my personal experience, this place was nothing like the reviews claimed it was. The check in process was a breeze, and the lobby looked clean and well maintained. Arranging for pick up & drop off with the airport shuttle was very easy. All staff that I encountered during my five night stay were absolutely wonderful. They were very kind, very helpful, and always had a warm smile on their face. From front desk, to housekeeping, to shuttle drivers, to breakfast staff, all were very pleasant. The room was small, and definitely no frills, but it was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The bathroom could use some renevation, but was clean and met all my needs. A/C worked wonderfully, and bed was very comfortable. I slept very well, and felt safe in my room and on hotel grounds (I was traveling with my friend, we are two women in our early 20's). The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is pretty centrally located. We woke up to a very nice hot breakfast buffet every morning, which looked and tasted freshly cooked in the hotel restaurant's kitchen each morning. No prepackaged or precooked foods like most places. We stayed in a standard queen room on the second floor, and enjoyed it very much. Overall, I would stay here again, as it met all of my needs and was a very nice experience. Thank you Red Lion Renton for making our stay in the Seattle/Renton area wonderful!

For the price point, this hotel is solid. Clean room, comfy bed and pillows. Lobby staff was welcoming and helpful. Shuttle Driver that took us both to and from the Airport was awesome. Super helpful and friendly! 5 stars for the shuttle driver alone.

It was a nice hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. The building and pool were clean and well kept. The adjoining restaurant was very good and also had friendly staff. The hotel provided a shuttle, allowing us to go to and from the airport with very little headache. The drivers were also amazingly friendly and kind. Calling to get the shuttle to pick us up, however, sometimes put us on hold for long periods of time.

Got a room for a friend (executive floor). The room while reasonably priced for a short notice, is oddly designed. The refrigerator and microwave oven is stacked on top of each other which is blocking the entrance. Pretty weird. Cleanliness is good, so is the bedding etc. Breakfast is served at nearby restaurant which is ok. Desk clerks are very nice and helpful.

An amazing experience here and even better customer service. Stayed here two nights for my girlfriends birthday getaway and the front desk associate made it even better when she upgraded our room to the King Bed suite for free! We were checking in and telling her why we were staying there and what events we had planned and she totally surprised us with that offer.

Amazing hotel. The bar was nice and had half off well drinks and apps witch we enjoyed. Our room was perfectly clean (bolth me and my girlfriend have worked in multiple hotels and at redlion ) they upgraded put room free of charge due it being for a special occasions. Liked the addition of needing the key card to access the floor in witch you room is on ( there was a shooting out front of the hotel at some point). They even had a shuttle driver take us to and from dinner witch was extremely nice on there part. The staff truly went above and beyond

Our flight was delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight in Seattle home. The airport put us up at Red Lion. I LOVED that they had free shuttle service to and from the airport, it really helped us out alot, feeling already tired and upset being stuck away from home at midnight, not having to worry about waiting on or paying a taxi was really nice. The hotel room was clean and quiet, and I got a good few hours sleep, no fault on the hotel (being we checking in around 1AM and had to catch our new plane at 730AM). The front desk lady was nice and efficient, we were dreading a long check in process which didn't happen, she already had our key card in hand the second we stepped up to the desk. I will definitely use that hotel next time in town.

Great hotel, can't say enough great things about it. Everyone working there was a delight to talk to and to get help from. Bags were promptly stored downstairs in a secure location while we awaited the shuttle to the Seatac airport. Loading onto shuttle was extremely quick and easy. Travel time and route from hotel airport was also quick and easy couldn't have been more than 10 mins.

Excellent room for an amazing price! Nice soft beds and the toasty room heat were a joy to return to after a cool, crisp fall day! In room fridge, microwave and wi-fi were a real treat as was the food at the connected Yankee Grill! Free breakfast would have made our stay perfection but for the price this room was a steal! Fully a strong 4 Star establishment.

The room was clean, the bed was a little lumpy. Front counter staff was more than helpful, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working and they upgraded us to a suite! Wake up call was right on time. HD cable service but we didn't watch much TV.

Good breakfast, clean room, kind of stiff pillows, good restaurant. The only negative thing was we bought a room for 4 people but they only gave us 2 breakfast vouchers and we were told we had to purchase two more for $14 each. This was contrary to what the ad for the hotel had implied, so we disputed it and they gave us a third voucher.

Great hotel & Very clean. staff are great. & housekeeping is awesome. Just little bit odor inside the elevator..smell like sewer.Yet..everything is good. we will used this hotel again in a future stay.🙂

The Staff is the best. I spend a average of 3 nights a week here in the RentonRed Lion and have had the best service.
The front desk is the best I have seen. Especially Catherine she is the kindest person you could ever want, she takes care of every detail and and always has a smile on her face.
The new waitress in Yankee Diner is the best and most efficient I have seen in a long time.

We were provided a room after we missed our connecting flight out of Seattle. The service provided by the shuttle driver and hotel staff was excellent. The rooms weren't extravagant but they were above average and relaxing.

We were only in town for one day but our stay definitely contributed to a nice trip to Seattle. Staff was very friendly and helped with a few questions that we had in regard to getting around town. Room was very clean, spacious and the location was perfect.

Stayed for 4 nights on business. I had a few issues with my room the first night that I brought to Cathy's attention the second day and I asked for a different room. No major issues with the roomost, just personal preference things. Cathy apologized and movedo me to a new roo. As soon as she had one available and said she wished I would have let her know sooner so she could have taken care of it sooner. 2nd room was very nice, very clean. All of the staff I encounter while there were very nice and polite. The restaurant attached it a very good option for dinner too. Good food and nice staff also.

All in all...tip of the line hotel? No. Nice, comfortable, clean, and friendly staff - absolutely!

My flight had be delayed or cancelled until the next day so they put me up in this hotel. I wasn't expecting much but I have to tell you they were extremely accommodating beautiful hotel and rooms. Prompt shuttle to the airport as well. I would definitely stay again

Love the amenities. A storage closet to put our oversized totes. A hot tub. A pet friendly hotel. Shuttle to the airport. Reasonable rates. Restaurant attached to hotel. With in walking distance to Enterprise rental car. Wal*Mart across the street. Close to my doctor's in Renton.

Staff is BEYOND AMAZING. Angela, the head gal, is wonderful. She treats everyone like they are the ONLY customer there. Every time.
The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, even if it's 2am. The cleaning staff are Sooo sweet. Whether it's an extra towel or (as in our case our child had an accident) they are kind and don't make you feel like a burden (as some places do)
The rooms are up to date, clean, and exactly what you need.
Adjoining restaurant, Yankee Grill, has great food at great prices. Bar, pool...
Right at the corner of 2 highways, you have access to everything...shopping in walking distance, mall just a few minutes away.
5 min by highway from SeaTac Airport...
It's the perfect place for your vacay or staycay.
Don't pass up any opportunity to stay here!!
