Uwajimaya Renton

We found this grocery store by accident (but heard about it and always wanted to visit). The store is very clean. There’s grocery section, prepared-food section with many things to choose from, and also gifts section. They have so many interesting things from Japan and other Asian countries. Great store!

The store was clean and prices were a whole lot better than if you were to buy them at a regular grocery store.

I love coming to this location since it is less crowded and has more parking lots than others. There is also an Oasis milk tea store inside😄. The store is not as significant and diversified as other Uwajimaya ones. I enjoyed the Poke and Deli section since they offer fresh and delicious food. Again, highly recommend!

It’s a really nice Asian grocery store based in Renton that has a restaurant. Their bento boxes are good and they have a wide variety of things you’d enjoy. It’s a very clean and nice Asian grocery store.

Some items I saw;
Cutlery, rice cookers, kimchi, miso, boba, tea, meats, fish, ready to eat meals, rice, drinks and so much more.

The Poke Bar here is the best amongst all other Uwajimaya locations, not too salty and lots of flavor!
Love the weekly/monthly specials and love the fact that they provide lots of space for local artists, and local food vendors.

My only complaint is that this Uwajimaya seems a bit limited, but for what it is, I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. I lived in Japan for five years and there are some items that one just can't find anywhere else. Chances are, if you have cravings for Japanese delicacies like I do, they can be found here. Delicious and fresh as possible. The floor was clean and the staff were friendly. I go every chance I get.

Can't go wrong with Uwajimaya Renton. The thing I like best with this location is the good quality of the produce unlike some Asian supermarkets. The store is clean, tidy, and doesn't have a gross, wet supermarket smell, which I truly appreciate. The aisles are spacious, the products are categorized, and the store has an overall great atmosphere. This is my go-to Asian supermarket.

Doesn't have everything the big Seattle store sells, but easy parking and convenient for the sound end. The Renton store has all the basics and a very nice deli.

My favorite place to shop, I grew up in Hawaii and uwajimaya has all the Staples, the steam table food is excellent and so is the poke, everything I need for my Asian taste buds.

A Asia Market place where you can buy your basic neccesitys. Friendly staff and environment. They offer household items and fresh seafood as well. Worth a visit if you require any South East Asian ingredients for Hotpot, ramen, Pho, and much more. Overall another good option for Asian grocery.

When it comes to quality products.. like high end beef; pork; and seafood..this is my go to store wagyu from snake river and Japan as well as Berkshire pork... only place to get wagyu hot dogs. And those exclusive Japanese drinks and kit kats

My boyfriend says their sandwiches in the deli are the best thing he’s ever had, i can’t stop him from buying them. we have so many. please. look he only leave crumbs

I thought the location in Seattle was the only one. Come to find out there was in Renton. It is smaller than the one in Seattle with limited items. Nevertheless the spot is pretty good to have asian goods

Easy parking in the lot, clean and organized store. Found my fave buckwheat noodles and other random stuff, which is great. Focus is of course Asian but mainly Japanese so if you are looking for less mainstream items like kansui (lye water) or custard powder you'll need to look elsewhere. Good spot, though. Recommended at least to look!

My favorite place to pick up my cooking supplies for Asian dishes I've learned to make. I do wish this location had a classroom like the old Southcenter Mall store did way back when!

Well laid out grocery store with just about anything you need if you know what you are looking for. More times than not I'm getting a quick bite to eat from the deli. Never a shortage of food items to grab and go. You might get lucky and find a deal, usually couple bucks off.

I shop here at least once a week just because I want a poke bowl. Renton store has much of what you'll find in the Seattle ID store but better parking and less people.

Good selection. Deli is quick, and we'll priced (without skimping on quality). Update, post covid: still great! Now with U-scan check out. Makes things even speedier.

Excellent selection of Japanese products. Top notch seafood department. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Gone here a number of times over the years and was always satisfied. I especially went here for munchies and have never been let down.
