Edith Barill Riverfront Park & Trail

The place is quite serene. Very accessible place and an amazing spot for a family weekend picnic. We can see a lot of folks taking a stroll, fishing in the river, jogging around and sitting.

Great little park hidden in plain sight. Makes access to the trails easy, fenced playground for the children, boat launch area, bathrooms and picnic/bench areas. There’s even a place to inflate bike tires. Well kept and they continue add improvements. Great place to visit for river watching or a stroll on the trails.

I always enjoy my walks on the River Trail. On Fridays the Star City Park now has the Farmer's market. There are restrooms, a children's play area, fishing pier, picnic tables, grills, boat dock with canoe launching area, and two covered pavilions and a gazebo. Also a restaurant that has a walk-up to-go window. Lots of parking and lighting. A very nice place.

This is a great little park found along the Star City Riverfront on the Caperton Trail (part of the Mon River Trail). There are several memorial statues, including a veterans memorial and a spectacularly made JFK memorial. There is also a well kept playground and restroom facilities here.

A hidden gem. Eating take out by the river is peaceful. Get a good look at the ducks and water. There is a nice playground for children just up the hill.

Nice little park - good interactives (swings, castle, balance activities for younger kids. Lots of Pokémon/Harry Potter gyms/inns/fortresses/etc. For middle and older kids (and the young at heart). Facilities are generally clean.

Well-equipt park with plenty to do. Right on rail trail, between path and river. Near Terra Cafe. Benches for parents. Rubber mulch under playsets.

Quit nice place for a walk or bike stroll. There’s a nice kids play ground and some people come here to fish.

Great playground for the kids. Single entry /exit to playground.... Right on the river, ducks come close

Nice.......they even have a farmers market on Fridays 3-8pm

Nice paved trail for walking, jogging, riding your bike and taking your dog for a day out
