University of Texas at San Antonio - Counseling Services

I just graduated this Fall of 2022. I have been receiving their services since Fall of 2019. I have almost nothing but good things to say about the counselors and the psychiatrists I have interacted with.
It is a long and somewhat difficult process to get started with services but absolutely worth it.
Everyone who works here has your best interest in mind. Even though UTSA's Counseling Services has limited resources to work with, they have always done their best to help me & many other students.
They truly saved my life. For that I will always be thankful for.

If you're looking for counseling, I highly recommend Catherine Love-Washington. She is extraordinary!

My Psychiatrist was great. I never got a consistent therapist. I couldn't see anyone more than once a month and I kept getting rescheduled with different people. It is like everything else at UTSA, stretched way too thin for what we pay as students.

Tried to sign up for Timelycare and it gives me an error; emailed them about it and never got a response. Tried to schedule an appointment on semester and they said I need to be on the wait-list. Not very encouraging for someone struggling with Mental Health.

They claim to have "relationship counseling" yet when I attempted to obtain this with my partner we were told that the "Director wouldn't allow it". Another resource that wastes tuition funds in my opinion.
