Melinda Cooper is amazing. I had a 15 day prescription and I ran out and couldn't get it filled for over a week. This medicine has been a lifesaver for me and I hope it helps my life to become what I want it to be. I really needed help and that's exactly what she did, help me. She's very understanding and listens to everything you have to say. Because of her helping me, i may be able to work full time now and change my whole life in a Different direction. Thanks so much for saving my life and not only that but making it better. I will finally be able to go outside my house and work and have a normal life and live. Thanks Melinda! I appreciate you so so much!

Wedgewood Family Practice is excellent. Theres never a long wait. Dr. Mercing is very polite and friendly. My mothers back was broken in a car accident 3 months prior to our first visit. Wed been to many drs without diagnosis. ( we had no idea her back was broken) They quickly found that she had a compression fracture in two places. They've been outstanding to us. The staff is wonderful as well. I'm so glad I found this place. Ive been to many that don't seem to care these days that it's quite refreshing to know there are people out there who still care.

I have recently moved to Morgantown and this office is located in a perfect spot for me(VanVoorhis). I was able to be seen right away for a blood pressure issue and my full physical was also scheduled quickly. Dr. Talkington spent time discussing my options and really included me in the decision process. I am not sure why others have a problem here, but I am very happy to have found them.

Lindsey Arbogast, a NP, made my experience absolutely wonderful. She was super sweet and sympathetic to my needs. She was able to explain everything well, and accommodated all my needs. I will definitely be returning to her for all future visits!

Posting because of all the negative reviews. Been a patient of theirs for over 15 years and except for long wait times on occasion have experienced none of the problems others described. I'm very pleased with how I've been treated else wouldn't have stayed.

As a walk in, only had a ten minute wait. Everyone was helpful and friendly and tolerant of my medical phobias. Exam was quick and problems pinpointed.
Really very nice and very helpful.

Came Here For A Follow Up Appointment Post 3 Day Hospital Stay. The NP I Saw, Was Fantastic, As Was The Entire Staff..

I have always dealt with Dr. Talkington, he is very professional and easy to talk to. I take my family to him as well.

Ive been taking my four kids and myself to this office for 5 years. they are prompt to get us in and have served my family well.

I have not had any issues with this family practice. I just moved up here and needed a new doctor and this was the first office that was recommended to me. To me, the staff and my doctor have been extremely helpful, and I don't plan on looking for another family practice.

Very disappointed. I have been trying for two months to have them help me with my prescription. My old doctors office faxed records and they say they didn't get them. I went and picked up a CD with records and they told me they couldn't read it. I emailed the records via their messaging system and nothing.
This is ridiculous, I will have to switch clinics. I do love the NP I see. She has been helpful, just not sure what is going on at this point.

I've been with them for over a decade. My mother was with them till she died, and my got my partner in with my doctor there as well in recent years. I was always pleased with the service, but this year it has been all down hill.

Some of the best people they had have left, their website became unusable in August without any warning or notifications and you have to contact them to try and setup an account again on a new site with nowhere near the functionality or ease of use as the old one and none of your old records or anything were moved over. You are on hold forever trying to reach anyone, you can leave a dozen requests for a callback and never get one and you have to schedule months in advance for an appointment.

I'm actively looking for an alternative to move to, but I'm likely to stay within the Mon General network because my pension is from them... so I'm not sure I'm going to do any better. :(

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office today. When I called the office at first the receptionist was rude, impatient, and laughed at me. She told me there was one appt. available for that day and I took it. I told her I needed a mole removed from my back that had been bothering me for a few months now. She told me she could not schedule that and it would have to be an assessment and if it needed removed it would be. I was fine with that because I knew it would need removed, I've had over 5 removed from my body in the past. I told Dr. Talkington that the mole on my back under my bra strap was really painful and bothering me a lot, which it is. He told me they would freeze it and hope it fell off. My other doctors have usually sliced them off before because when you freeze them they usually come back. I was absolutely fine with waiting however long it took to get it removed, even if all they could do was try to freeze it. I waited in my room for over an hour and then Dr. Talkington comes back in my room to tell me that the freezing machine was broken, which they told me earlier I was waiting because the treatment room was occupied. I think I was lied to about the freezing machine being "broken today" and that the doctor did not want to bother with my minuscule problem. It's a family practice; people come in with small problems all day, and mine was actually causing me pain. I told Dr. Talkington thanks for his help today and I would be so happy to take another half-day off work and pay another copay..since today went so well. Needless to say I will never be back and I have never felt like I wasted $20 more than today in Wedgewood Family Practice on Van Voorhis Rd in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Always liked the doctors here. However, that all changed. I needed blood work done prior to prescription refills. Explained to the doctor that my insurance covered 100% for testing completed through Mon General. I was told that it would be covered through them also. Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for the total amount. Of course, I stated what I was told, and didn't pay. I then went in a year later for my check-up and was rudely told, in front of every one, that my past due bill must be paid in full before a doctor would see me. I had been a patient of Dr.'s Sine, Mitchell, and Dixon for years. This is total BS! Needless to say went to another doctor.

THE WORST.

I came to the "walk in clinic" because I don't see a general physician which is what I needed for my health issue. The nurse laughed in my face about my problem and continued this type of unprofessional behavior while she was gathering my information. Giggling and making inappropriate comments about my condition.

When the physician's assistant (Anuradha Pradhan-Costello) came in she did not introduce herself and was also very unprofessional. She didn't examine me, just trusted my description of the symptoms I was having. She wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way without telling me about any of the drug interactions or side effects of the prescription. Once I got to the pharmacy I was informed that the drug I was supposed to take had been pulled from the market. It took about 10 hours for me to finally get into contact with the PA and get another prescription that could actually be filled.
