Shoney's

Stopped in at this Shoney’s to grab brunch. As I entered, I was greeted by a sign informing me that this was the restaurants last day of operations. The staff were extremely friendly & polite. They explained that since the restaurant was closing all that was available that day was the buffet. I do love the buffet, so I stayed to eat and enjoy this Shoney’s last day. The buffer was limited due to them closing. It was still amassing, yummy southern comfort food!
Seating wasn’t a problem, lots of tables & booths available. All and all it was a very good dining experience.

The Hot Fudge Cake is a classic dessert I’ve enjoyed my entire life. It’s the same deliciousness now as I remember from my childhood. The service at this Morgantown location is top-notch. ⭐

After traveling hundreds of miles to visit my son he raved about this restaurant. This was our first stop and they did not disappoint. The food was great and the staff was wonderful!

Amazing!!! We had the salad bar. I’m not one to usually eat salad but I tried their house dressing. The best dressing I’ve ever had!!! I’m super picky when it comes to dressing. And the food was just as good. We loved everything. And our waitress was sweet as can be! We will definitely be back.

Traveling east and needed a sitdown restaurant for a break. Was not disappointed with the service nor the club sandwich. Coffee is always good.

06-23-23 My son and I stopped for the breakfast buffet. We weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh n hot. Waitresses were all friendly and attentive. When I was waiting to pay. Some rude old man tried to cut in front of me. The young lady at the cash register made him wait his turn. That made my day! Most people would have probably gave into him! She did not! Lol

My waiter was Lisa. She was on top of everything. Our cups did not get the chance to become empty. She was right on top of it getting our drinks making sure everything was good and that we were happy with the food. The food itself was phenomenal. We got here for the brunch buffet $11.99 for adults children under 4 eat free on the buffet. Food was wonderfully prepped and ready. Thank you Lisa will be back soon.

We stopped in there 40 minutes before they were closing but all the food was fresh and tasted great. They also brought out more fried chicken for use. I personally got 2nds on potato soup and chicken. You can always tell when the service is top notch.

Food was Delicious!! Our waitress was Cathy and she was the best!! Hard to get good service and good food these days and we scored both!!

Checklist. Bathroom clean. Buffet clean and fresh. Parking lot looks full, inside was mostly empty. Canned pear halves tastes like grandma's. Mac and cheese was smooth and awesome, not kraft. Sausage links yes. Patties no. The eggs were very good. And yes Avery I'll take another sweet tea. It's delicious! Everyone definitely bring the fam.

The BEST BREAKFAST BAR ever! Love the scrambled eggs with cheese sauce over.

After the no food at IHOP disaster it was great to be treated right. Left a great tip.

I periodically have breakfast here with a group. Service is always exemplary, especially since this is 2021 and there is a nation-wide deficit in available workers.
Facilities were clean and the breakfasts have been good. This location has a side room that is good for groups to meet while enjoying food together.
Bathroom was clean.
Morning servers have always been incredible, especially since they are short-staffed.

Really good breakfast buffet! Was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the strawberry pancakes 🥞 😋 even took a strawberry pie home!

Everything was great. They close at 4:00. We got there at 3:00. They continued to fill the food bar the whole time. Waitress was friendly.

Really good food, good service, only I had was you could only get the buffet, no ordering of menu, maybe this is a Sunday think. But the buffet was fantastic

We live the laid back atmosphere here at Shoney’s,the staff always makes you feel like you are eating at home .The food is delicious and the actual breakfast buffet is not to shabby either.If you’re into an affordable way to fill up I recommend this place.

Great old time atmosphere, love it, great food and very good service too, hate to not mention the wonderful lady that served us, she was so delightful.

We had a fantastic meal! The salmon on the buffet was AMAZING! Perhaps the best I've EVER had! Our server was wonderful! Hold off a couple weeks on the strawberry pie,though--a little tart.
