Today St. Joseph Auto and Diesel in St. Joseph, IL saved my day!!! I had a tire blow out on I-74. I managed to get to a safe parking spot. I called the tow company I have used for several years but they have raised the rates very high for out of town calls and it would've been 2hrs or more for them to come. I had to find help somewhere else. I went to St. Joseph Auto and Diesel. They took care of it in less than an hour even though they had a full day's work in the shop and they had to go to my car to fix it. They made sure the tire pressure was correct and the bad tire was loaded into my car. I asked what the charge was....they took care of everything AT NO CHARGE!!! What a Blessing!! DEFINITELY check them out for all of your automotive needs!!!

I've been coming here for all my vehicles needs for about the last two years now. I've been blown away by their outstanding customer service!!! Their staff is friendly and welcoming. I always get a reminder text or phone call the day before my appointments. They always do a thorough inspection of my vehicle during the oil changes and print out a report with pictures if they find any deficiencies. They are never pushy or pressure you to get the deficiencies repaired and they are very honest about which ones can wait, and which ones can not. I just recently had them do two substanial repairs for me and they did such a great job! They kept me informed of everything throughout the two day repair process!! They were totally transparent on the prices and the final price was what they had quoted me ahead of time. A+++ service in my opinion! I would definitely recommend using them!!

Great customer service!!!!!!! Replaced entire fuel system , radiator hose and 2 new interstate batteries. Price included 3 yr or 36, 0000 warranty with rd side assistance. Our truck has never run so good ! Awesome Work ! Thank you

My husband bought a used truck and just wanted to have it checked out, fluids changed ect. They were able to get him right in and take care of everything for him. He's very happy with the service received and the timely manner it was completed in.

The friendly and professional staff took care of our daughter's car issues when she ran into problems at college. We have now happily used them on several occasions and were very satisfied with their work and the cost of service!

I literally was traveling alone with my doggie doing 78mph on 74 tire completely blew off I was able to take control of the car and not wreck and got off there exit parked at DQ and had a complete anxiety attack scared to death walked to there shop and was greeted by a lady and man in the office that treated me like I was family and went and changed tire to donut and helped calm me down and direct me to a shop that could put a tire on for me I recommend ANYONE and EVERYONE to this shop! If it wasn’t for them I have NO idea what I would have done thank yall SO much for everything!

We have taken our vehicles to St. Joe Auto & Diesel for the past several years. They are always great to work with and the prices are very reasonable. Most recently we had an issue with a vehicle on the day we were leaving for a trip. They made time to work on our van and got us on the road quickly. Our van worked perfectly on our 3,000 mile trip!

I've taken my truck here for over 4 years. It's a great place; Matt and his team are thoughtful, honest and care about the quality of their work while doing as much as possible to avoid high labor fees. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic.

I was recently 3 hours from home and my car started acting oddly and lots of lights lit up on the dashboard. I found the team at St. Joe, and they were wonderful! They figured out what was wrong, let me know what would need to happen and how long it would take, and even offered to drive me to a restaurant to grab lunch and wait where it was cool. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and can't thank them enough for their help. I made it home that day and my car has been running great ever since.

I had an issue with my air conditioner while on the interstate and pulled off at the next exit. Luckily there was St. Joseph’s. They looked at the car and got to work right away, everything was repaired and we were back on the road in three hours. The staff were very accommodating and really knew their job, I would highly recommend them.

I was able to get my vehicle in to get it worked on the same day I called. Sent me a detailed diagnosis of what was wrong with my vehicle and communicated to me what needed to be done to fix the problem. I had my vehicle fixed and back on the road in 2 days. Great company to work with, good at communicating with the customer and work done in a timely manner. I will definitely use St Joseph automotive and diesel again.

Showed up without an appointment with a minor issue to my car. It was not driveable at a speed over 30mph until the issue was resolved. 30 minutes later I’m back on the road again. Fast, fair, and friendly! Will definitely be back. Thanks again St.Joseph Automotive!

We got a flat while traveling down to Florida. It was freezing and found this place to stop at. They were really friendly and professional and even though they were busy they took our car right on in and fixed and they even let us sit and wait in the office with our dog. The price was also really reasonable. Wish I had these guys around any time we needed auto repairs! Trustworthy, friendly, professional and timely service. Really appreciated. Thanks guys.

I was in desperate need of getting breaks changed. After being told it would be a few days before I could get in, I was called back and they fit in the schedule. Were able to fix them quickly and saved the day by fixing the caliper, which happened to be sold out basically EVERYWHERE! I'd send anyone to them for auto repairs. I even received a thank you card from them. Great group to work with and fair pricing.

Our 2016 Forerunner had an oil leak. St Joseph Automotive diagnosed the problem and emailed me pictures of the oil leak. Then they described where the leak was and how it would be repaired. St Joseph Automotive was highly recommended to us, by our son and daughter in law, who had prior experience with car repair by them. Also recommended by a friend who is a resident of St Joe.
Staff was very friendly and took time to explain repair in detail. SUV runs great. Would highly recommend St Joesph Automotive for service on your vehicle. I will return again.

Great place and service! My sister was in town and had a tire problem! They looked for the cause and fixed it and didn’t charge her! Now that’s something you don’t see anymore! Thank you St Joe Auto for taking care of my sister!

Wonderful experience from start to finish and their customer service is outstanding! Would highly recommend them. I’m happy to say I have found a mechanic that I trust to correctly diagnose the problem with my vehicle and get it taken care of in a timely manner. Their rates are reasonable too!

Had an emergency repair that needed down while traveling from out of town. Their staff was great — quick & so nice about everything! I will be returning when I’m back in town for some repairs I need done.

The folks at St. Joseph Auotomotive are great to work with. They are very flexible too. The work is warranteed and done well. We use them for all four of our vehicles. Very recommended.

I have been going to SJO auto & Diesel for everything for my car (oil changes and regular things that pop up) for six years since we moved into the area. They ALWAYS do the best job to take care of me in a timely manner and get everything handled impeccably. I know that when my car goes to them I can trust them to not take advantage of me, to charge me a fair rate in a timely manner and give me the best service possible. I wouldn't dream of taking my car to anyone else:)
