Management and staff are very welcoming and professional they strive to give the best help/advice they can usually have low gas prices would 100% recommend if you're passing through town to stop and get your gas here.

Easy fuel stop. Friendly cashiers or pay at the pump. No DIESEL and awkward for Truck with Trailer.

I love marathon!!! Shop almost daily!! Best staff in town. Very kind. The air is self service. Sandy Marvin is not only able bodied bragging how strong she is. Her husband makes a fortune doing dent work on cars. Her son sells tax free pot she can go to express tire and pay. That's their business ☺ (in reference to brandy marvin)

Extremely clean bathrooms! It does not at all feel like you are in a gas station when you go in these bathrooms. The employees are also very friendly. If you are passing through you should definitely stop here.

Good gas thanks

My mom, who has faithfully purchased gas from the Marathon gas station on Cedar Street in Kalkaska for 40+ years, asked the lady behind the counter if anyone was able to assist her with putting air in her tire yesterday. The woman went into the office and came out followed by the manager, Bruce DeGraw. Mr. DeGraw begrudgingly informed my mom that "he had forgotten his jacket" (keep in mind it was 65* in Kalkaska on 9/30/19). Needless to say, she went elsewhere, and will for gas purchases in the future. If customer service is important to you, I recommend customers NOT expect it from this manager.

I am from Kalkaska. This the worst station in town. You can never use a gift card at the pump and half the time you can't pay at the pump with ANY card.
