Sushi Koshi

It was our first visit and our whole family was satisfied. My kids loved the shrimp sushi and we loved the salmon and cucumber. In particular, the roll had an attractive texture and taste. I think we will visit again to eat there.

The sushi is so good here! The food is consistent and always fresh. The presentation is on point. Plus the rolls are decently sized. The staff is polite, yet professional. Dining is limited to a few seats and the space is small; sometimes there is a small wait to be seated. There's a paid parking lot available in the rear of the building and lots of street parking.

Their roll combos to share are my absolute favorite! They are a great mix of rolls and an amazing value! The rolls for 2 gets you 4 regulars rolls and a special roll of your choice for under $40! The fish is also always so fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend!!

Dining here was a wonderful experience. The rolls were delicious (the Jersey Roll was out of this world), the service was top tier, and the staff were so friendly. One of us left our phones behind by mistake. When we got back we were greeted warmly and even given two mochi ice cream desserts on the house. We will absolutely be returning.

My family and I love sushi koshi so much we come here all the time. The food the service and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the staff is so sweet and so kind. Definitely recommend😇😍🍣🍱

Definitely make reservations ahead of time, this place gets busy on weekends. Overall, great place with amazing service. I ordered ramen and it was delicious. My wife ordered Boston roll and kamikaze roll. The kids ordered avocado cucumber roll and everyone was super happy. Definitely recommend this place. Great staff and great sushi.

I was craving sushi after giving a bunch of blood at the doctor's office earlier. Ended up getting the Rolls for two option with a special roll and I went with Spicy Salmon Mania for my special roll and it also comes with California roll, Spicy Tuna, Eel Cucumber, and Shrimp Tempura roll.

The Salmon Mania was absolutely delicious, big in size and loaded with salmon. I am definitely going back to get it again and try other special rolls that caught my eye. The regular rolls were good as well but was similar to all other regular rolls at other good sushi spots.

The waiters were really nice as well, even though I did pickup and didn't do dine in I saw them being really attentive and friendly with other patrons and myself. Can't wait to go back!

Very delicious food. I got a salmon bowl and avocado roll. They were very refreshing and the rolls my friends got were good too. Miso soup was also super good. Only complaint is food is a bit pricey.

Definitely some of the best sushi in the area, one of my new favorites. I wish I tried it sooner!

Photos are: tuna tataki, super yummy and has a bit of a spicy kick to it. And then sushi rolls we got were; spicy tuna, spider roll, kani(crab) roll, unagi(eel) sashimi, and a crab spicy mayo mango roll. All of them were excellent.

I've also had the pork gyoza here, it's solid.
I've also done their chicken teriyaki lunch box, it's about $16. It's also very good, my only wish would be for them to include some rice with the teriyaki lunch box.

Fresh sushi and attentive staff. The salmon, squid, and masago were my favorite. Looking forward to my next visit thank you for the hospitality cherry!

The place is a must try if you ever happen to be around! The food was delicious and the plating was very nice. The sushi from here has to be the best that I’ve ever had so far. This place does not skip out on quality or quantity. The amount of food given in each order is fairly a good size and everything tasted fresh. We ordered a variety of rolls and I would definitely be coming back here again just to try everything I missed! I live in NYC and I happened to be in the area. This place did not disappoint, I am definitely making the trip back here again when I get the chance.

Whether take out or dine in this place is great!! It's our go to sushi place once a week 😋

A quaint little spot, staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The food is leaps better than the local competition, and better than the general run of sushi spots. Great selection of entrees without overwhelming you. Plus the atmosphere is really cute and intimate

My boyfriend and I were in town for a course and a local recommended Sushi Koshi to us for dinner. A 10/10 recommendation!!! The sushi is amazinggggg and so fresh. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive. The music was great and the atmosphere was so laid back- it felt like eating at home. If we’re in town again we will 100% be back. They’re also BYOB and there’s a liquor store right next door to add to the vibes. Thanks Sushi Koshi!!! 🤩🫶🍣

JJ roll was our fav!!

So friendly! My husband and I loved being greeted with several smiling faces as soon as we walked in. We came for lunch and shared the beef goyza for an appetizer, which we both really enjoyed. I had the chicken lunch box with the avocado cucumber roll. I was so surprised by how much food it was! It all tasted delicious and I loved the variety of items it came with (soup, salad, chicken, goyza, and edemame). My husband had the chicken katsu and lunch roll. He loved every bite. We were stuffed and definitely had leftovers. Can't wait to come back!

Had a fantastic dinner here with my wife. I was surprised by the small interior though I did enjoy it. Sushi Koshi has a very intimate feel and I think it's a perfect spot for a date night. You're allowed to bring your own wine however they do serve sake as well. While I can't say I loved the Chicken Yakisoba, I did thoroughly enjoy it. The food itself was about a 4/5 for me but everything else was exceptional. Our waitress was kind and food was served warm. Overall a 5/5 and I would highly recommend this establishment.

everything here is delicious and overall great. We even got a few complimentary pieces of sashimi added and it was so nice. The staff is super friendly, the place is cozy but small, but overall really quality sushi, definitely a place you want to go to.

My wife and I love this place. We've been coming here for years. We recently moved away, but I still take a 30-minute drive even for take out.

Joon is the man, and he's always treated us like family. The owner also always remembers us when the whole family shows up. Most importantly, their sushi is really good and really consistent.

I highly recommend it. It's a byob, and there is a liquor store right next door. The staff here works really hard, please remember to tip them well if you have a positive experience.

Side note, there is usually plenty of parking right around the corner a very short distance from the entrance, so don't sweat that.

I’ve come to this spot more than once and by far it is still my favorite sushi place in NJ. Had dinner and ordered an amazing combo and it did not disappoint. Not only was the food amazing but the staff and service were so kind and attentive. Even though it is a small place it feels very authentic and homie so I didn’t mind. I will definitely be coming back to my favorite spot soon, thank you!

The sushi here was great quality, waiter and staff were very kind and efficient. My friend had a small issue with her daughter (not the restaurants fault at all) but the help + support, and genuine concern from the staff didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you all.

I wish I remembered to take a picture of my order. I did have some yummy miso soup, kani salad, salmon, tuna dragon roll, and salmon dragon roll. Next time I am in the area I will most definitely be stopping by for some more & capture some better photos to share!
