Bonjour Montclair Cafe

Had prosciutto, mozzarella, pesto, peppers sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Bread was super fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Side salad was great and refreshing too. Will be back!

Crepes are wonderful! The savory crepes come with a small salad and two pieces of pineapple (it might have changed though since we last went- it's been a while since we moved). I love the chicken crepe with pesto. My husband usually customizes his crepe with different meats and cheese. The milk is steamed for coffee, which makes it foamy (very good coffee). When we are in the area again, we'll have to visit.

I felt like I was in Paris. During the pandemic, I have been trying to support local restaurants. I decided to get the quiche and banana & Nutella crepes. Both were delicious and still hot when I got home. I got to see my crepes being made, the expert swirl of the batter, and the amazing way the bananas were sliced was something to see. I could barely wait to get home and eat! The quiche was excellent, fully tasty with flaky crust. My eyes were bigger than my stomach for the crepes. They were filled with such deliciousness, I ate the rest later. The staff was so nice and appreciated the support. I can't wait to go try more things on their menu.

Excellent. Had My salad made on the spot and watched, also very respectful staff. And food is always great. My breakfast and lunch is always made with care.

Absolutely amazing and flavorful selection of sweet or savory fresh made crepes, sandwiches, baked goods, coffee, tea and other beverages. The plated crepe and sandwich presentations are beautiful. Staff here are friendly and helpful with choosing your selection. They offer eat-in as well as take-out and only accept cash payment. The restaurant is a small & clean intimate space with outdoor seating as well. There is on the street metered parking. Prices are reasonable.

Best crepe and breakfast spot in town. Fresh ingredients always. The watercress and egg sandwich is my favorite. Family loves all the crepes. Nutella strawberry and the guyere cheese and French ham are their favorites. Coffee is on point, especially with the steamed milk.

Best crepes in the area! I love the orange caramel crepe!

Still love their food. I could eat the crepes with sauted banana and pineapple every day.
They also accept credit cards by now.

Love their food. The crepes are heaven.
Two things I don't like:
1. No credit cards. In general that is fine, but it is only mentioned at the cash register. Not at the entrance.
2. They only serve on paper plates with plastic cutlery.

Delicious !!! Food is perfection - great spot for weekend brunch or any day 😊 outdoor seating available- Maria extra friendly & makes you feel welcome . Highly recommend!

Incredible food - both sweet and savory crepes - out of this world. Great coffee, too! What a gem! Deedee or Didi - not sure how to spell it - is sweet, kind and super friendly!

I had the steak sandwich with mozzarella cheese on garlic bread, by far the best steak sandwich I have ever had. I want to try other things on the menu, but will be hard-pressed to order something different. That’s how good the steak sandwich was.

The best crepes I have had in NJ!!! I would recommend the sweet crepe!!!

Amazing Crepes! We came all the way from the city and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the salmon/pesto savory crepe. One of the best I’ve had.

Put in 9 orders of food and they were ready in a timely manner. Lady on the phone is very nice and understanding when some food needed to be vegan (smoothie and avocado toast). Crepes are amazing; large, gooey portions with ample filling. Only con was the sandwiches we ordered needed more steak on it. Again it was a large order in a small timeframe.

This is mostly a take out place. There are 3 tables for sitting but you eat out of take out containers. That being said; the food is wonderful! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The coffee is absolutely delicious!

I enjoyed my crêpe which was nicely presented in a box. It was outdoor seating only. You have to go inside to order, but they bring the food to you outside. As we were eating there it would have been easier if they had brought the food out on paper plates rather than in a box. However, the food was really tasty which is what is most important. I shall definitely go back there.

I can't believe how delicate and delicious my crepes were (and large portions). The woman behind the counter was overwhelmed in 4 directions and yet still managed to come to the door and hand me my order herself. Yes there was a 40 minute wait but this is real food made right in front of you, not food product. If realness and authenticity takes just 40 minutes of patience, then I'm happy to walk around the green or hit up the bookstore in the meantime. Well done Bonjour Montclair! I'll be back.

Ordered the banana, caramel and walnut crepe and it was delicious! One of the best crepes I had in the states. Definitely going to order again.
