Awesome car show...reminds me of the "Car Craft street machine nationals". Here's my favorite car with my favorite wife...LMAO .

The park is very clean and to rent the space for parties it is very cheap, obviously you must set it aside with time and leave it clean after the party. definitely 5 stars

Nice ball fields to watch grandkids play softball.

The park is very spacious, clean, and a variety of activities available (playground, baseball diamond, swimming, fishing, festivals).
A great spot for family, friends, and community to get together and enjoy the day!

My 2nd time at Peterson Park for the fireworks. They hold an all day festival there a carnival live music food trucks food stands sitting on the lawn or you can enjoy the view from your car bathrooms are supplied.

Great Park, especially for the lake and they have many events in which to participate. Be sure to attend fireworks for Independence Day

very nice park we were there for a couple Softball games.

Love playing volleyball here and walking around to find mchenry rocks! Great for date night or just to relax!

Place was very clean and had very attentive staff. They had life jackets for the kids and adults with some inflatable play sets and slide. There is a cover charge for non residents, but it's very cheap and definitely worth it.

VIP for Sugar Ray and Smash Mouth only $30. You can't beat it!

Great park, husband had a baseball game at night. Very well maintained field. Nice bathroom facilities, which was an added bonus. A lot of parks in the summer only have porta potties.

Was there for the 4th of July. Firework show was great. They must have sprayed for mosquitoes because I wasn't being drained alive. There was plenty of parking, decent food, and not overcrowded. Was a great experience.

Always lots to do there. It even has pickle ball. Playgrounds for the little ones and more.

Nice little setup they have . They have a playground, beach and plenty of room for a picnic or playing games in the grass. I attached froggies ice fishing tournament had a blast.

We go every year to the blues, brews & bbq. The park is really 3 parks, the beach area with picnic tables and grass in the sun and a second area with pavilions a playground and large oak trees, the third being the baseball fields.

Nice facilities, the park sprawls with multiple. Entrances, can be a bit dodgy using sat nav.

We visited the old Peterson Homested across from Peterson Park. It's open to the public once a year. We go every year. Great history and lots of fun things for the little kids to do. Alot of fun for the whole family.
