HCMC Shapiro Building

Coordinated entry is the bees knees! The caring staff is always eager to help and I've always been treated by the golden rule here! Thanks for all the hard work that you do.

This building offers an incredible amount of medical services. It is part of the original HCMC hospital so it's quite old. The janitorial workers do an outstanding job at keeping it clean, repaired and sanitary. It is a little bit of a maze and the pharmacy is on the basement level. Overall it's a pretty cool place and had a mural showing the incredibly timeline of HCMC which spans over 100 years.

The staff at the coordinator center in the Shapiro building are absolutely amazing shout out to Dr Kelsey Byrd and Cynthia social worker! By far the two most compassionate heath care workers around

I have an appointment here every month for last couple years. Staff always friendly...my doctor is amazing I absolutely love her! She truly cares about my health and well-being. Always quick.. rarely have to wait long. Always clean and welcoming! Definitely recommend!💯☮❤

The staff is always well organized. The services are extremely hospitable & there’s always something good to take from a visit. Thank you for making a difference those who are.

Good pharmacy

It's a hospital, with clinics, etc.

The number for shapiro building needs to change. It's the general building number, not the Shapiro Clinic itself.

I saw Dr Japuntich for a few months last year.
She likes to use worksheets, which were helpful to an extent.
I learned alot from the worksheets.

In session however, when I'd start crying (because I'm talking about painful experiences) Dr Japuntich would clearly become uncomfortable and wouldn't provide any emotional support for me.

She'd avert her eyes and quickly redirect us to the worksheet without giving me space or guidance to process the emotions that were coming up.

She was so focused on getting through the worksheets that she failed to hold space for my emotions.I'd leave sessions feeling emotionally abandoned, left to deal with my feelings on my own.

Japuntich seems like a therapist who isn't comfortable in her role.

There's a lot of malpractice going on, they prescribe medicine that's bad for you
