I had a great experience with Harolds Transmission. They replaced the 4L60e transmission in my 2003 Silverado. It took a while to get in there as they were booked out pretty far but it was well worth the wait. The cost was just under $3000 to have a rebuilt transmission installed in December of 2023. I will be recommending this shop to anyone in need of transmission repairs in the future.

I called on the Friday before a holiday weekend and Rob said they were booked up for 6 weeks or so. We're traveling full time, and after explaining the bind we were in, Rob said to swing on by. He got our truck in, gave us a diagnosis and explained the best path forward. Really appreciate the team helping us out in a pinch! I wish this shop was in our hometown so we could have them take care of the bigger job!

Excellent place for any and all of your transmission needs. The staff here is A++. Great communication, every step of the way they keep you in the loop and are fair with their time and costs. They definitely care about their customers and it shows in their work!! Definitely recommend!

They did a good job on my transmission and were very patient with me while I figured out if I wanted to drop $4700 into a transmission on a pretty old vehicle. I must admit though that I wanted to throw up a little when I handed over $4700 cash. That kind of money doesn't come my way very often. Of course, that's not on them.

I went to another transmission place out in Hermon for a diagnostic and they gave me a quote of almost $8,000 to fix my problem. I went to Harold’s Transmission for a second opinion and they fixed my issue for $238. I’m very grateful to these guys, they do great work at honest prices.

Great place to get transmission work done !!!

5 stars is too little for this place! They get 10 stars at least! We were up to St Albans to open camp and had some car issues we thought might be rings or drivetrain or transmission. Called 16 repair garages and dealers in a 50 mile radius. No one could look at the car for 5 days. Harold's said bring it up, we'll take a look for an estimate. After he took it for a short drive and a scope look, it was simply some lubricating fluids that needed added to the torque converter to get us home. We drove 100 miles round-trip just to get it looked at. Many thanks to Chris for exceptional service!

I have never gotten a new transmission before now and this place was great. Reasonable, friendly, helpful, and job done right. My vehicle is better than ever and I highly recommend this place. Hopefully I don't have to, but I would definitely go to them again, hands down!

Good honest folks here. I was having transmission issues, as well as some (I thought) unrelated dash issues. After going to a couple mechanics that couldn't figure it out these guys took it out, figured out my main ground was disconnected (no clue how) and that was causing everything to go haywire. They reattached it and sent me on my way. It would have been easy for them to tell me there were bigger problems, especially after getting transmission error codes, and charge me for rebuilds or solenoids, but they have integrity. Very much appreciate everyone down there.

He told me exactly what my problem was, the exact cost is going to be to fix it and how long it would take and gave me up dates along the way. I completely recommend harolds transmission

harold's diagnosed my box truck transmission and repaired it. then i brought my t350 because of the great work they did on my box truck. in for a fluid and filter change in the transmission. they quoted me a price and was able to do it under the quote. great people.

I always receive the best service here. Rob, Seth, and the others are a great group of guys. I'll never look for another transmission shop.
