Fantastic park...but it sucks (blood). We really enjoyed the trails, hikes, and waterfalls. However, we camped here in June and the mosquitoes were so bad that we could not be outside our trailer for more than a few minutes. Therefore, we ended up spending most of our time on the beach. Great beach...beautiful weather, lots of sand, and we could even build a fire and cook. Our van also broke down, the staff were super friendly. They helped where they could, including jumping the van and moving our pop up off site and into storage at no cost. We'd go back, but either stay at the main campground near the beach or later in the year.

Great relaxing camp site, has a picnic table, fire Ring, trash can, and restroom camp site number#6 is the best sight there. They don't offer water or electricity.

Great little campground! Fairly private sights and an outhouse. What more could you want? Plenty of trees for hammocks.

Quiet place, excellent place to see the stars! Serene! Feel close to nature! Not a bad drive to lake in the clouds, and mirror lake overlook.

FYI No water and the bathroom is an outhouse

Ok. Pretty secluded, sites are wooded but very small. Good tables and fire rings. I think there are about six sites in total.
Stayed one night June 16th and the mosquitoes were pretty bad, not intolerable.

This is an incredibly beautiful national wilderness area nestled right next to Lake Superior. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars in Beauty.

The reasons I'm giving this location a 3 out of 5 stars is because your campsite is right next to the road depending on which site you get. Traffic isn't too bad at night, but can be over bearing during the day. We stayed 3 days (2 nights). Around 4:30 in the morning on the first night we were woke up to loud banging and loud talking and laughing. The people camping behind us were leaving and had no respect for us or any other campers there. Not sure if we were the only ones that got woke up but it was very rude and inconsiderate.
