We enjoyed a delightful evening at the Silver Spoon, agreeing with other reviews that it stands out as the finest authentic Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit. Celebrating our wedding anniversary, the owner, an exceptional host, enriched our experience by sharing insights about Italy, Puglia, and recommending a delightful primitivo wine. Our dinner included the m Carpaccio Di Manzo as an appetizer, followed by Orecchiette Al Ragù D’agnello (lamb ragú), Fettuccine Al Salmone Affumicato, Fettuccine Al Ragù Di Coniglio (rabbit ragú), and Fettuccine Al Ragù Di Salsiccia E Porri (sausage and leeks). Each pasta dish exceeded expectations, with the lamb and salmon particularly outstanding. To conclude the evening, the owner joined us, sharing laughs and surprising us with a delightful tiramisu and ice cream adorned with a candle. Highly recommend!

Food was phenomenal. Steak was perfectly cooked and the Petto Di Pollo Principessa was superb.

The location is a bit hidden - but to be honest I like that. Kind of a low key place but it's been in Rochester for as long as I can remember!

I would like to say our first time here today and it was exceptional! Our waiter Jessi was very attentive and knowledgeable about food and wine. He did a great job. To the chef, we are delighted to have tasted so many different dishes full of FLAVORS. Thank you to everyone. We will definitely be back for more.

My family celebrated my 70th birthday here. We had a delightful meal. The service was great. It was slower than most restaurants but typical for an upscale Italian restaurant. I started with a salad, the Insalata Sfiziosa, made with arugula, fennel and citrus. It was a great combination of flavors. I had the Pappardelle Tre Bocconi for my entree . It was delicious. The fresh pasta did not disappoint. For dessert, I had chocolate covered spumani. It was outstanding. It was a perfect birthday meal.

My wife and I went here on a Saturday at 6:00pm. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was amazing. The veal chop is excellent and I recommend it. There was one mix up with the order which they immediately fixed. I read other reviews about this restaurant that were negative and was hesitant but my wife liked the options on the menu so we took a chance. My guess is that those that are leaving those negative reviews either had one bad time or are high maintenance individuals. We gave it a chance and we’re very happy.

I’ve lived in big cities and I’ve eaten great Italian food. I must say - this restaurant is the real deal. The food is authentic and the wine list is hard to come by. We were personally waited on by the owner himself - I couldn’t have asked for a better meal.

This place is my very favorite!! The food is unique, truly authentic, very fresh and the wine list is quite impressive too. It's located on the River in Downtown Rochester and is the perfect place for special events, romantic evenings and dinner with family or friends. The service is also 5 star!!!

Fabulous dinner. Outdoor dinning on porch. Could see and hear Paint Creek. Hostess and our server were great. New to Rochester and so happy to find such a great restaurant so close

The owner has been more than gracious and completely hands on, on both occasions. Staff is friendly, considerate, and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

I think the vegetable risotto is a little pricey, but everything we ate was very good. The restaurant is crowded, so you should make a reservation.

If 6 stars were an option, that would be the choice. My wife and I were there this past Saturday & i’m so glad we chose this restaurant. We did make a reservation, but we always like to sit at the bar so we ended up sitting at the bar. We had a fantastic overall experience from start to finish. The bartenders were on point the drinks were fantastic and the food. Oh my God, the whole Bronzino out of this world my wife had one of the specials scallop dish that was fantastic. I had an after dinner, homemade lemon cello they served it to you in an ice cube shaped shot glass with of course a silver spoon holder with. It was our first time there, but we will certainly be back! The owner came around to us shook our hands. Asked us how her meal was. You don’t see that many restaurants anymore and that was greatly appreciated!

Beautiful and delicious food! You can taste the freshness of the fish in every bite and the filet was cooked to perfection. Great wine and great service as well!
