The quality and sophistication of the food, not to mention its BYOB and reasonably priced, makes this place a new favorite of mine. I was blown away. Service was great and each dish was elevated in such a way that is really special. The mushroom ravioli entree was amazing, as well as their salad with roasted squash. Last thing - my wife has an allergy to cow’s milk and they were able to sub goat/sheep’s cheese in her dishes w/ no issues.

As others said, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS HIDDEN GEM 🙌🏼 beautifully layered, flavorful, creative dishes and the menu is changing regularly. Staff are friendly and warm. BYOB. Highly recommend the meatballs that are on the fixed menu. On our second visit we had mostly specials - a beautiful citrusy winter salad, lobster-stuffed fried artichokes with a creamy spicy sauce, the salmon and pappardelle specials, and the chocolate cake which tasted like ferrero rocher. Every single dish was amazing. Photos are from our last two visits.

My sister and I went here for lunch. It was phenomenal. We both had specials. I had thr mafaldine pasta with pork, broccoli rabe and Parmigiano reggiano, and my sister ordered a panino which was fried eggplant, olive-sundried tomato tapenade, parmesan shavings and spinach cress. Both were phenomenal. We ended up just sharing both dishes. We loved it so much, we ordered food to go for our families. It's a bit small in size. We got here right at 12 when they open, and within 10 minutes, they were full.

Stopped in for lunch. My wife had the melanzane & I had the orchietta with broccoli rabe & sausage. Both were delicious. We finished with a pistachio affogato and were very happy. We plan to stop back for dinner soon.

Their food is consistently delicious and well presented. And it shares its space with a bookstore what more could you want for atmosphere? Always a great place to visit. It's tiny though you might want to make a reservation.

This place is the BEST Italian food I’ve ever had. Homemade pasta, everything is fresh and the chef is always adding new specials to the menu- every day! This is such a great hidden gem and the ambiance with the bookstore is my favorite part! You feel like you’re back in your Nonnas kitchen! It’s very old school amazing apps, entrees and desserts. I bring my family here for dinner and lunch all the time. We will continue to go and eat amazing food there!

I LOVE this place! It has so much charm with the shared space of a bookstore and petite seating area. Its cozy nature keeps things intimate and it doesn't feel like a cafeteria where people are all talking over each other. The food is DIVINE, I was shocked to discover this place wasn't banking solely on its library-esque appeal! The portion sizes are generous without leaving you feeling stuffed. I tried the Arugula Pear Salad-- the arugula was perfectly lightly seasoned, the poached pears had a delectable sweetness and combination of textures that made it almost melt in your mouth but still had enough body to not feel mushy. The cheese was sweet and not overpowering, A+. Then the sausage soup was perfectly balanced, delivering a homey comfort food feel, with 5 star flavor. The entree was slow braised pork shoulder that fell apart with juicy tenderness with fresh homemade paccheri pasta cooked to the most amazing texture, leaving that sought after mouth feel-- still chewy, not mushy, impossible not to inhale in one bite. Even though I REALLY shouldn't have, I made room for a beautifully presented slice of berry layered cake with caramel drizzle and an espresso that brought me back home Portugal. As if this weren't enough, the staff is what really makes this place shine. Ella, Emma and Lindsey have a seamless system of rotation without the pettiness of territory and best real estate. Their focus is on the customers and their satisfaction. They work hard and they take serving their guests seriously, while still delivering your meal with warmth and a friendly smile. I felt welcome as if I was having dinner at a friend's family's house. They bring your dishes swiftly and work together like a well oiled machine. They check on you without making you feel rushed, and even at their busiest-- they take a moment to engage with their guests and make that special connection that makes you feel like you belong there. I'm happy I was introduced to this place and I can't wait to see you there!

We had 2 appys, brushetta and meatballs, star pasta special to share, and salmon and pasta w pork shoulder specials. ALL DELICIOUS 😋 😍 coupled with very friendly staff and cozy setting which made our night out just perfect!

Carlo is probably the most creative chef in the area. You won’t find dishes like his anywhere around and the quality is superb. The service is great as well. This place is a hidden gem and anyone looking for genuine and creative Italian meals will love it !!

Excellent service and atmosphere. This little restaurant is a hidden gem tucked inside of a book store. Only seats 16 people so definitely make a reservation. The food is the best part. Everyone was loving their dinner. Everything tasted fresh and looked hand made. It's BYOB so bring some wine! Will be back again.

Absolutely amazing experience. This is such a cozy and unique restaurant and the experience blew me away. We started off with an amazing lobster arancini appetizer and wow, so flavorful! The kale Cesar salad was divine, fresh and flavorful. The gnocchi was amazing!! It just tasted so fresh and this was an elevated experience. The main takeaway is that it all tastes super fresh!! The two women serving were super sweet and helpful. The owner was very generous and kind. The service here was amazing and I would definitely return in the future.

1St time eating here.I truly loved this gem of a place.The food was amazing,I loved the atmosphere and the girls that were working couldn't have been nicer.I took my wife for Valentine's Day and she couldn't have been happier!I will go back again and again.

Finally!!! A place I can come to for meatballs, and legit home cook Italian meals, like legit legit. Omg the pasta was just heavily, I ordered the spaghettoni carbonara and it brought me back to the quality meals I experienced when I went to Italy. Everything so fresh, made from scratch, made with love. Love everything about this place, the charm, the books, the quaintness of it all, it’s hard to find a place where their food standards are just as high as the ambiance they provide, even the music was perfect. Perfect for a date night, or a delicious lunch. I’m so happy this place opened.

This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We split the polpette di nonno to start and then got carbonara and the gnocchi telefono. Great service and spectacular food, we will definitely be returning for more!

Took myself on a lunch date, and instantly fell in love with. Staff is super friendly, and service is exceptional. I opted for the arugula salad - yum - but everything looks so delicious. I will be back soon. Also, check out the bookstore next door (diff owner) but an absolute gem.
