I have had my taxes done at Eden Prairie Tax for the last two years. I found the staff not only extremely knowledgeable in the completion of personal taxes, but also extremely competent in the preparation of business taxes. Mike is professional, efficient, organized, and considerate. I would highly recommend Eden Prairie Tax.

My family recently relocated to Minnesota from New York and needed help establishing an LLC based in Eden Prairie. I consulted several sources and was told by some that they could not do anything and others that I needed to get an attorney. Fortunately, Mike from Eden Prairie Tax & Accounting replied to my request promptly and told me how to do it myself via the Minnesota State website. His expertise and willingness to help saved me a lot of time, frustration and money. He made sure I received all of the information I needed and offered further assistance if I needed it. I felt like Mike and firm cared about helping a local business first and about us as people rather than just trying to pick up a client. I will definitely work with this group in the future and recommend their services for their professionalism and personal care they show their clients.

I am so, so happy that I found Mike this year to do my taxes. I was getting really frustrated over these past few years because the person I had hired to do my taxes was so disorganized and made so many mistakes. Not only was Mike incredibly organized, but he was extremely efficient as well. I dropped off all my information on Friday at his office and by the next day, he had already finished with my taxes. Mike explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. This was the first year that I felt like I actually understood what things meant. Mike was patient enough to explain things to me and I didn't feel dumb asking him questions. I will most definitely be a repeat client!

Great experience filing annual taxes, would recommend

I called March 20th at 5:35pm asking for the hours of operation. The person who answered asked me "Who is this? Do I know you? Are you a client?" I explained I am not a client yet, and I am responding to the Edina Tax flyer I received in the mail. The person then explained he is the owner and is with someone else right now. The man took my phone number and said he would return my phone call. One week later and no returned phone call. I have chosen to use someone else.

Technically I am not a customer. I was only a potential customer attempting to do business with you 3yrs ago when I originally posted this review. Google does allow for potential customers to post reviews of their experience.

You might want to do a little research on how to respond to a negative review because your response is telling.

I explained to Mike before I even went there that we needed help with business tax. When we got there, it was apparent that Mike had no idea what he was talking about, yet was determined to let you know he did and would take our business.. something about downloading the software just last night was quoted and we should of just walked away but continued because we had no other viable options besides attempting to file ourselves. We gave Mike all the information for the business which was NOT complicated at all.. in fact I should have done this myself. Mike would try to belittle you by shoving meaningless form numbers or rule numbers at you, try to wonder you with facts about code that you don't really care about.. I just want you to do my freaking taxes, I don't give a dog crap about the magic behind the curtain, just tell me what I owe... I PAY YOU to know the magic, I don't care to know it. Anyway, after MANY rude and inappropriate comments about stupid tax code or you should know this or that, or how many times do I have to tell people this he finally gives my wife the forms so we can be on our way. Can you believe this guy cant even thank us for our business.. stays in his office while he yells at his secretary to make sure we get an invoice. NOT a business man, not pleasant, well above the rate I would pay for this service and NOT going back.. EVER. This man has lost my business and anyone's that would care to listen to my experience. Don't try to make people feel dumb about your expertise, not everyone is in your line of work...and that's why you get paid for what you do. And if your going to pass off the credit card usage charge to people then please post more than a discreet 2x2 placard on your poor secretary's desk identifying it. Like make SURE people know about it and don't get so upset when people don't know about it.. Pleasantry gets your repeat business man, your sarcastic holier than thou attitude and bad mouthing of prior clients only shows your low class and should not be in the position your in. I will be making sure that I have my taxes checked again by someone who knows what they are doing. Mike your not a teacher, your a doer... Do your job...its what your paid for.
