Whippany Diner

Always my favorite place for dining. It's near my home and I like to come here again and again. The service, atmosphere and food all are excellent. The lady in the billing counter was wearing a nice specs ahead of the Valentine's day when I had last visited on 9th Feb.

First time to dine here and will definitely go back. The Women's pastor in our church is born and raised in NJ so she takes me to an adventure trip in all the diners around Morris County and outside. This one's close to our church and I have always seen it packed. And now I know why! Good food, friendly service and coffee that never ends. I ordered the Bella Rosa Omelette which has sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and mozzarella and that was superb! For "dessert" we got stuffed french toast with cream cheese and strawberries on the side. That went well with coffee!

In diners such as this, you can always mix and match the ingredients and I love that the waitresses in this one will made sure they got the orders right.

The diner is super accessible from NJ 10 and has ample parking space. It is not as huge as the others but I love its cozy and quaint atmosphere.

My wife and I had a great experience at the Whippany Diner!! We were greated by a very friendly smiling hostess, seated and then treated by an even friendlier waitress who was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Their lemon soup was really good!!

I had the calves liver dinner, and it was delicious!! My wife had a penneni with fries and said it was delicious!!

Stopped in for lunch, we were visiting area for a wedding. Born and raised in New Jersey and going to diners my whole life, we knew we had to find one before the wedding!! The diner did not disappoint! I got my usual fair when going to diners - egg omelet with cheese and onions, a toasted English muffin and a side of corned beef hash. Loved it all except I did ask for the corned beef hash to be extra crispy, but it seemed barely cooked. My husband got a turkey club with French fries, sooo good!! Probably won't be back as we are back home, but super happy we had a nice lunch here!!

Only diner I've ever visited that features Avgolemeno soup, along with other Greek specialties from Thursday to Sunday. By far, the BEST Greek salad with a huge piece of grilled salmon I've ever enjoyed! Wish they served Ouzo!

Classic New Jersey diner food with great service and an extensive menu. We had California burger and fries, a panini, chicken sandwiches and they were all so good. Of course had to have a side of brown gravy to dunk into and it was sooo soo good. Will be back again.

Came for my car service and had some standby time. Visited this beautiful diner and everything was amazing from food to service. If you are around and need some great breakfast, this is your place

The Whippany is my favorite local diner for a number of reasons. The friendly people from the greeting when you enter, and servers, attentive and happy to help! The food is delicious, good size portions and value. Not to mention the food comes out quickly. Never disappointed here.
You have to give it a try!

This is a nice place! We went for breakfast! There’s lots to choose from! There’s breakfast wraps, breakfast sandwiches, French toast, pancakes and omelets! I had French toast stuffed with strawberries and cream cheese! So good!❤ My husband had pancakes with strawberries already mixed in! Yummy! Our waitress was very friendly! If you’re in Whippany, you should try the Whippany Diner!

Toasty, tasty, bright, clean spot with exceptionally friendly service and homey decor. Seems popular with regulars and solid in the art of dining. We had a satisfying breakfast including some fluffy pancakes. Reasonably priced for good value. Have a hot plate at the long counter or a comfy booth.

Good food good service. Waitress was very nice. Food came quick and was hot and tasty. Solid goto diner spot. Will be coming back.

I had the french toast with strawberries and a vanilla milkshake. DELICIOUS. as soon as i sat, a kind woman with blue eyes and dark hair took my order and brought it out in less than 1 minute i kid you not. i LOVED this place. 10000/10 recommend especially if you’re on break and you need quick food but not fast food! they’re super fast , efficient and delicious

A great standard and traditional dinner, food was great and parking was easy. There is a sit down counter if you just want to order a coffee or something quick. The staff is professional and food came out fast. I plan to return very soon.

Clean, comfortable, attentive, and the food was great! They had gluten free options to accommodate my allergy. FYI The fryers are shared, so I wasn't able to have french fries, but the side salad was fresh, and enjoyable.

SOLID ham & cheese omelette, three large eggs...truly crispy home fries (my request)...great coffee...smiling, friendly staff...classic jersey diner! Plenty of parking too. Loved it!

We go here every weekend because of the friendly atmosphere and the outstanding service. The owner always takes the time to engage with us, my son always walks away with a smile and a complimentary lollipop. A special thanks to our last waitress Danielle, shes definitely in the running for best server I have ever had at any restaurant.

Quite possibly my new favorite diner in Northern Jersey! We were immediately impressed by the look of our food (looked like more $$ than we paid and definitely not just any diner food) and the actual taste hit it home. Plus, their bacon is thin and crispy! Something that seems rare around here. So good! Will be back.
