Vietnamese restaurant lavista

After three months of being in Thailand and Vietnam, we’ve decided to try as many local Asian restaurants as we can.

This place did not disappoint!
We walked in and welcome with a warm greeting. The gentleman was prompt with water and great suggestions.
We ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, a jasmine tea, dumplings, a side of fried rice and a large bowl of Tom yum soup. We were so excited when it came out, we didn’t think to take a before pic. Lol
Every bite was fantastic!

ASK FOR KC. He was great, polite, personable and knows the menu well.

Small locally owned place with outstanding service and wonderful food! We are from out of town, and our friendsfriends brought us here. We loved it, and love to support local business!

Absolutely love this place! Cute restaurant with a homey atmosphere. My go-to is the Brisket Pho & Vietnamese eggrolls. If you like spicy, try the chili oil, won’t disappoint! They have a variety of flavors for boba tea which is a plus! The owners are always so friendly and definitely make you feel welcomed.

Food was great I can’t complain on anything. The only wish I had was that the dumpling sauce was different. But everything I ate tasted fresh and so pleasant I couldn’t believe I randomly found this place.

Eating here felt surreal, in the most amazing way. I felt like I was eating in my grandmas kitchen as a child. It really was such a stupendous moment and I will be coming back consistently now. I’ve already told 7 people about this place and I ate there two hours ago.

From the moment you step foot through the door, you are greeted by an incredibly friendly atmosphere. This place is an absolute gem when it comes to enjoying a delicious bowl of pho! Our family absolutely adores dining here - and the owners are Amazing

Awesome Vietnamese restaurant in La Vista. We had the specialty Pho and it was delicious! Our server Maria was so friendly and courteous. We had a really good time eating our meal and enjoyed conversations with her. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely come back with my family thank you!

Great lunch spot! I like their pho and vermicelli bowls, and their sweet iced tea is delicious. It's got a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, and the service is always fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

WOW... don’t let the outside turn you away... We have tried Vietnamese all over the world & this is right up there at the top of the list. The homemade dumplings were amazing 👍 We got the lunch size & it was just the right amount. Can’t imagine what large would be like?😀 They were very kind & it was clean. Would recommend stepping out of your comfort zone & trying they❤ We dine in but notice they had tons of take always 👍

This is the 3rd time we come here. We get 5 star customer service each time. Food is always fresh and tasty. We recommend the combination beef or chicken pho. It comes piping hot 🔥 with all the fixings. Also fantastic are the vietnamese sandwhiches and fresh spring rolls. Honestly, I believe whatever you order it will be tasty! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Truly 1 of my favorite restaurants in Omaha. The pho is the best in town, spring rolls are always great, and banh mi’s are second to none. Plus the owners are the nicest people in the business, Evie and KC are the best.

Very fast service, charismatic guy in the front of the house, and solid prices. Now to the really good part, the Chicken Pho. What in the world of magic and sorcery are they doing!? This was the absolute best Pho I have ever had! The broth was rich, huge portion of chicken, noodles were cooked perfectly, the sides (Thai basil, jalapeno, bean sprouts, cilantro) were fresh and crunchy.

I ordered takeout and the broth came in a large drink cup... Which is genius. I would 100% order just a large drink of Pho. All day! I must have burned my mouth 10 times trying to just drink the broth, but it was SO worth it!

Everything we had was so good. The bubble tea is very good, we all had different flavors and tried each other's, YUM. The appetizers were good too. We had chicken egg rolls, fried dumplings and chicken wings, all very good also. The chicken wings had an amazing flavor. My wife had Rare beef Pho, my son had Pad Thai, my daughter had Pineapple Shrimp Curry, and I had Chicken and shrimp Vermicelli with red and yellow peppers and jalapeños. It was so good. The server suggested it, as it was one of his favorites. I appreciated the kindness and hospitality of our server.

Dined on Pho, a spring roll and Vietnamese egg roles. The food and service were both fantastic. Hand rolled egg rolls, super flavorful broth on the rare beef pho and a husband and wife duo running the show. highly recommend.

Fantastic flavors and great service. The mood of the restaurant was perfect. I will return to try more dishes.

We came here for my brothers birthday, their customer service and food blew me away!! They make you feel like your family and didn’t feel awkward being it was my first time. He even gave him a free shirt. Family owned and operated. Support the small businesses! We defiantly will be back soon.

Absolutely LOVE this place. Been going here for years and never have had a bad experience. They treat you like family. Everything on the menu is amazing. They make everything by scratch. Pho and egg rolls are one of my favorites. Anyone looking for true, authentic Vietnamese food, this is your place to be!

It’s our first time trying in here, the service and people in here very nice to customer. He checks up on me every 10 min to make sure the food is good. Especially the food is pretty cheap compare to others place. Please come here and try your experience guys !!!!!!!!!!

Found this place by accident - but definitely a happy accident!
Food was delicious, generous portions, staff was friendly and attentive, cherry decor.
I met an old friend to catch up and appreciated the space to do so.
Will definitely go back!

This place's pho is the only one I will eat in Nebraska. Everyone else is dogwater. I feel a pip to my step after I eat here. I feel elevated. I feel educated. There's just something about the amount of authenticity that goes into their pho. THE pho. Ah man, and the sizes. Why has no one else thought to incorporate something above a LARGE?! US DUDES GOTTA EAT. When I visit Nebraska again, I'm making a stop here at least another 14 times with my fiancée. AND- the staff. They're so friendly and so welcoming. If there weren't a law against it, I'd shack up here. 5/5? No, 10/5. God bless y'all for doing things the correct way.

Great food, good service, tired hole in the wall but clean and inviting and those are usually the best places to find authentic food. Pho broth a tad weak but otherwise great food, ask for additional sauces if you want more authentic and spicy.
