El Vallarta

This is a nice restaurant we have eaten here before and everything is always been good, so I figured tonight I will do a review..

They have an extensive menu, some people like that but I've always subscribed to less is more, have maybe 20 or so offerings and make sure they are perfection, but then again some people do enjoy having a large selection, if that's you, then you'll love it..

The restaurant is layed out nice, everything looks clean and fresh..

Steak burrito dinner was very good, excellent flavor, everything cooked perfectly..

Tamale was good.
Chicken enchilada was good.

For an appetizer we had queso with flour chips, this is something we frequently have here and it's always excellent.

Very delicious food blended with excellent customer service & ambiance.
The waitress & the restaurant manager were very pleasant people to interact with.

Reasonably priced with a good quantity of food served.

Would highly recommend this place if looking to have some good Mexican food.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Greeted, was joined by two others in my party. No wait, fast service, and the food really was exceptional. Can't go wrong if craving Mexican. A great experience.

Family gathering for my adult daughter’s birthday which El Vallarta has been her choice of places to eat on her special day for many years, so this is not our first time here; but I can not say that we are regulars to the establishment. Another thumbs up for good food and the restaurant gave off a cheerful/homey atmosphere. Servers were polite and prompt and seem to know when drinks were needed refilled. Total of 7 people were at our table and everyone really seemed to enjoy their food except for the Arroz con Mariscos, scallops were a bit too salty. Other than that, food was good and would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Tex-mex food.

I’m almost speechless at how amazing this was. The service was IMPRESSIVE to say the least. From the time we ordered to the time we got the food is was MAYBE 10 minutes MAX.
And the food!? OH MY GOD! It’s like a spiritual experience.

Instant drink refills. Instant everything.

We've been here about a half dozen times and always loved it. Tonight was super special, we came here for a quiet evening and it delivered. Now only was the food amazing and the service was fast but this was the first time we've tried margaritas. When we tried their blended strawberry margarita we found out that my wife doesn't like tequila, rather than just taking it away our server offered to make her their house margaritas and it has become her new favorite drink!
Service alone will always get our business but the food, from the chips and made in house salsa to the main dishes everything was above and beyond our expectations. 10/10 will always be our go to spot for mexican in the Omaha metro.

Taco salad has a lot of sour cream. In this case our bowl ended up as taco soup since the hot chicken had a lot of extra liquid. It tasted fine but it might be better to get the sour cream on the side. We got the guacamole on the side which is why it's missing from the picture.

We have been back a few times since my first visit. This place has been pretty solid with my friends who I've introduced all enjoying it.
Do try the jaimaca drink for something different. It's very palatable for someone who doesn't want something weird but just different from the norm. The glass it came in was huge!
We recently did the El grande dinner off their house menu. I felt like it easily fed 2 people (I am not the biggest eater though). It's a great deal at $13.99!
We also got the steak burrito dinner. Though good, I have found other things I prefer to order here. My friend really enjoyed it though. I included pictures, but realized after taking them, though the plates look the same, they are different in size. The steak burrito plate is larger.

This was our first time going.
We had the Omaha dining passport, so the pricing for us ends up being exceptionally good.
We had the Burrito California dinner and the Fried Chimichangas (off their house menu).
As soon as we sat down we were given tortillas and salsa. The tortillas were warm and not too greasy (Some places we went to recently were much greasier)
Both meals were very good. There was nothing we could fault. I wasn't very hungry but still felt my food was tasty. We had some very bad cheese sauce at another place so were hesitant when we ate this, but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

On our initial trip we gave it a 5 because what we had, the atmosphere, coupled with price and service was deserving of that. We will most likely be back and hope that our continued visits will still be at this standard.

Extensive menu. Very polite and attentive staff. Only had a taco and margarita but still back to try more menu selections.

We love the fast friendly atmosphere at all of the El Vallarta locations. A local family owned restaurant.

Great food and amazing service! Went there with a 3 co workers and we looked at the menu, ordered, got our food and ate all within 15-20 minutes! Definitely recommend.

By far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The service is fantastic and the food came out fast and was delicious! The drink Coco Loco is my new favorite. We don’t get to LaVista often but this place definitely give us a reason to go more often.
