Great mom and pop place, one thing I missed in the city was there was always a good place to find Chinese American food. When I moved here I had to really search for someone that can make what I like and this place got it.

Absolutely enjoyed everything we ordered. From appetizers, to soup, to fried rice, to several entrees. Excellent! Small, out of the way location, but exceptional food. Thank goodness we all have a great place to get Chinese take-out in Carmel. I consider myself VERY lucky. Very pleasant employees! Check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

So I'm a recent newbie to Carmel, and so I have to say after my 2nd order from Foo Kan, I've struck gold! Everything i have ordered from here has been spot on and delicious. I have a weakness for chicken and broccoli. Its a simple dish but you would be surprised with how many chefs can mess it up, but Foo Kan's is definitely within my top 5 list. I'm definitely ordering from here again.

The Food here at this Restaurant is very flavorful and delicious, No MSG is even better. Now I don't have to drive all the way to lower Manhattan for Chinese Food. I suggest the Singapore Mai Fun noodles in Curry; it's has the savory of Curry and the right heat/Spicyness and recommend there Thai Special section as well. Very friendly, family oriented establishment and it's right next to King's Transmission off of route 52

A gem in a small town! We ordered a few lunch specials after a tiresome hiking nearby, it was delicious! We had Thai curry shrimp, sesame chicken and kung po chicken, all tasty. If you're looking for a local Chinese takeout place, you don't want to miss this one. (Fair price too)

Food is great! The people are so polite, hard working and friendly!! Take out is quick and hot and delicious!

Best Chinese in the area, the food is consistently good, never greasy, and the owners are always friendly. For an additional charge you can request white meat only, brown rice, and they have a very tasty diet menu (their garlic sauce is excellent!)

Food is fresh & really delicious. Owners are extremely nice & make sure order is always accurate. They speak English!!! ;)

Amazing food love the China food, very soy, with a little sauce. That fried rice was pretty fried. That chicken had a bit of a chick. Will most likely come back in the future. Grate englis is spoke. - FFRANKST3RR

Honestly I came in expecting it to be bad or nasty Chinese but honestly it was some “FooKan” good Chinese food.
