St. Peter's Diabates & Endocrine Care

Lots of miscommunication amongst providers, nurses, lab techs, and administrative staff to the point that it hinders care. Long wait times and impossible to get ahold of someone on the phone or through the portal. They do work to solve the problems though.

I was racially, profiled and disrespectfully treated from the moment I walked through the door. I came in for a physical and made a police report directly after my visit. I felt extremely unsafe and targeted by one of the nurses I was greeted with dirty looks, and ignored as I spoke. my disabled son was called all types of racial slurs by another patient as the nurses agreed I was Mocked and made fun of by a specific nurse who mumbled that I looked like a man and that I was baldheaded. The doctor neglected to update the information in my profile. I was there for an evaluation, and the doctor did not evaluate me. I had to ask if the doctor could take my weight and height. When I asked the doctor what my height was, she told me 6 foot seven. I am 5 foot four. The doctor gave me a prescription for a medication of a diagnosis that I no longer have. My disabled four year old son was treated as if he was a dog. One of the nurses. Told me to hit the road when I ask for a summary statement of my visit. When I came back in to the doctors office to speak to a doctor about my experience, because I wanted to change doctors offices after that experience, the same specific nurse got in my face and continuously cursed me out, and tried to physically intimidate me, as if she wanted to fight . I was holding my four year old, disabled child in my arms. I wanted to drop kick her in her head, but I am a mature, strong Black woman. If I was ignorant, I would have been influenced to attack her. But I’m not going to jail for nobody. Nothing in the summary statement. Reflected. The visit I made I am unable to contact the specific office because nobody answers. I would suggest nobody black or no young beautiful females go to this doctors office because you’ll be treated disrespectful based off of the personal feelings of staff. Based on me being a patient and what I was being treated for. I believe. a hate crime was committed against me. Because anybody with common sense. Would have compassion and if not compassion. Professionalism for a patient . my above all experience was very Traumatic and I will not forget how I was treated in my time of need.

If you need healthcare, don't use this practice.

I've been trying to get a prescription written for a week now after having seen Mandy Black and gotten a blood test per her order. I've left 4 voicemails for the nurse and talked to the receptionist several times. No call back. No prescription. No one will answer my calls except to transfer me to a voicemail that no one checks (apparently), and they answer less than half the time. I'm out of medicine, my levels are wrong, and this practice just doesn't care. I'm at wits' end trying to get care from them, and my health is going to suffer for it. I've never had a doctor's office care so little for my health.

I had to call 6 times, leaving messages every time, a few months ago to get a refill on medication. Now I've called and left 4 messages, with another questions, with no response.
