The Cider Mill has some of the best food in town paired with the best service around and a lovely outdoor dining set up.

Everything about our meal was incredible. A beautiful evening outside on the patio. A tasty cider I've never tried before. The wonderful complimentary focaccia bread. A great brussel sprouts appetizer with a perfect cook and fun flavoring. A delightful Cesar side salad. The mahi mahi fish of the day was wonderful with perfectly cooked potatoes and asparagus. The Riggies were a perfectly el-dente cook with a wonderful sauce. I got it with the spicy sausage which was incredible. We got the cherry pie with graham cracker crust dessert and it was the perfect way to end our meal.

Such an easy place to recommend and with this being the current summer menu there were so many more things we wanted to try. Seems like you can't go wrong here. Take in all you can with the great food, great atmosphere and awesome service when you go. Enjoy!

Had reservations for 2, upon arriving was told that they had a cancelation and we could sit outside if we wished. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Riggies were excellent, I chose the roasted chicken was perfectly tender and moist. Also had the Flourless chocolate cake with black raspberry ice cream Husband had the smoked salmon pasta and Strawberry Rhubarb shortcake, he enjoyed both. He also enjoyed the Strawberry Rhubarb Negroni cocktail he had with dinner!

Took my mom there for her birthday dinner on 1/20. Everything was top notch. From the girl taking my reservation over the phone, our waitress & let's not forget the delicious food. Thank you for making my mom feel extra special on her birthday.

Super cute spot in the Syracuse area! Relaxed and homey atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cocktails were all good especially the strawberry jalapeño mule, they do a great job with that! The star of the show were the lamb chop lollipops, uniquely sweet flavor which I don’t typically find. I love that the deviled eggs were dressed with lox and everything bagel seasoning. Entrees came out great as well, they have an option to substitute for beyond meat patties on any of their burger options. Last but not least, desserts were worth getting even though my boyfriend and I were both stuffed! The cider donut one seems to be the most popular. All around great experience!

The service was great! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. They served a house made focaccia bread that was very good. We had the arancini, the NY strip, the Chip N’ Dip burger, and the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Great place to have a nice dinner.

Beautiful dining room and bar area. The staff was very friendly, polite and attentive. The winter menu had some great choices. The riggies were amazing. The perfect amount of heat and very creamy and cheesy. The prime rib was cooked perfectly with the fluffiest mashed potatoes I've ever had. Very impressed with the wine, beer and cocktail selection too. I will definitely return!

Traveling through New York, we stumbled upon this really lovely location. The service is even more friendly than the reviews can attest, from the owner to the waitstaff, we were blown away by the kindness and hospitality while also still given our space to enjoy our meal. This place has mastered balance. Super bonus that they were amazing with our Pooch on the patio. Our food was beautifully plated, perfect to sometimes large portions paired with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. You get so much bang for your buck here as a road tripping foodie.

The buratta with fresh grilled peaches, pecans and hot honey is a flavor combo I am now going to have to have more regularly in my life! The arachinni started with a delightful crunchy exterior that gave way to tender risotto and flavor packed mushrooms. For beverages, we chose the cider mill mule and the Strawberry Rhubarb negroni. Both were well crafted, the negroni perfectly balanced on just being a tad sweet while still bursting with fresh strawberry flavor and *I believe* Rhubarb bitters. I had the salmon with farfelle and my partner, the quarter chicken. My portion was huge, bright with dill and capers, the pasta al dente. The smoke from the salmon added a beautiful base note to the cream sauce that danced on the line of rich yet light with the offered lemon wedge that I spritzed it with. The chicken.....Oh damn, the chicken! I don't think we have ever had chicken so masterfully prepared that the skin was just the right amount of crispy, the glaze's heat was light and sweet. The meat was moist, falling off the bone. We almost ordered a second! Miraculously, we still had room for dessert. The apple cider donut is just as beautiful as the photos in all the reviews show it to be. The donut was fabulous. As a donut AND autumn lover, I had high hopes and they were not let down. It had great structure, able to support a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream without ever becoming stogie. Its flavor was lightly of apple, not too sugary and overall a great way to wrap up our night. We definitely took the place up on the 'buy a pitcher for the kitchen', they deserved that an more!

I cannot urge you strongly enough to stop here if you have the chance. Thank you, The Cider Mill for being a surprise highlight of our trip.

First time there with a bunch of friends. The food was delicious and the servers were great and attentive. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and would definitely come back.

My husband took me here last night for my birthday and it was such a great choice! Loved the Riggies and my husbands steak was cooked to perfection! The mashed potatoes are so light and flavorful as well. Our waiter was great and I was even gifted a dessert for my birthday. A fresh apple cider donut sundae. It was to die for. Even my husband who doesn’t like sweets too much happily took a few bites! We will be back for each menu season change for sure!

Food is fantastic. Our servers have always been amazing and the atmosphere is cozy yet energetic. Love it!

First time at The Cider Mill, but I assure you that I will be back.

The courteous and attentive staff make this place shine aside from the aesthetically pleasing and homey decor.

The food and drink is innovative and diverse in selection, while the music is alternative and inoffensive in volume, leaving you to enjoy your evening with company.

I highly recommend that you give it a try.

Buyer beware however, you will be charged more if you use a debit or credit card, possibly turning this decadent visit into a bank breaker.

Great service and atmosphere. The French Onion Chicken was so-so. The chicken didn’t have much flavor which I thought would have more of the onion flavor so I would pass on that dish when there again. Other dishes at the table, Mahi-Mahi and Chicken Riggies were very good.

Delicious food prepared with a Chefs touch. Pleasant atmosphere and wait staff. Guests have the ability to buy the kitchen staff a pitcher of beer to say “ Well done!”. Nicely renovated Cider Mill

The food and service was amazing! Our waiter was fantastic! We started with the poutine which was decadent and delicious. For our entrees we had salmon and brown sugar chicken thighs with smoked Gouda mac and cheese. For dessert, creme brulee! Amazing meal! Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We will be back!

Great service and AMAZING food in a really nice, newly remodeled restaurant. We've been here a few times but this last time was our best visit yet! Went on a Saturday night, made reservations because it can get pretty busy there, especially on the weekends. They were pretty busy so I was glad I did.
We started the meal off with fresh in house baked bread with whipped butter, then ordered a veal meatball appetizer. The menu had a ton of amazing options for entrees, we found it hard to choose.. but thankfully our waiter had us to narrow our options down to two choices and gave us his recommendation. We both went with what he suggested and we were glad we did. Hubby had rack of lamb with wild rice and wilted spinach, I had the chimichurri sirloin steak with wasabi potato salad and grilled bok choy. Both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. We were thinking about taking dessert to go because we were both pretty full, but then we heard that they had pistachio creme brulee on the menu. We had to try it, and were we happy we did. It was one of the most amazing desserts we have ever had. The whole meal overall was an amazing experience, and we will be making this one of our regular date night restaurants. If you haven't tried it, you really should!!!

They are a great working team here. They are pretty busy and we got a reservation and showed up 5 minutes later and they were able to seat us for two. The waiters are all over customer service. Refilled water almost as soon as you take a few sips. The food came out fresh and hot and fast!! I will be returning. Fresh homemade bread. Chicken Riggies and Heavenly thighs! Both are awesome!!

Food was absolutely top notch. Now I understand why this place is highly recommended. Wish I had come here sooner but this will now be a regular place for us. Was a 25 minute drive. While not ridiculously long, it was certainly worth the trip. Service was incredible. Everything is made fresh and on premise.

Awesome original chef created appetizers and dishes, atmosphere (for me just as important) is amazing for a romantic date or dinner with friends. Love the little touches of originally like water served and placed on the table using recycled liquor bottles.. Highly recommend!!
