I recently got my nails done by Tess which happened to be my first experience with gel x nails and thoroughly enjoyed the service! Tess was so nice and experienced as she prepped, cleaned and painted my nails! 10/10 would return and recommend her services!

Deja was wonderful! So easy to talk to, she listened to my requests and was so friendly! The environment itself was nice, very comfortable and great assortment of colors. Happy I found this salon!

This was my first time at shades nail bar, and it was amazing! Tess was easy to talk to, and great at helping me make decisions on nail type and color. They had fun music playing, and everyone was so nice and friendly.

Love my nails! I typically get dip but have wanting to try something that looks more natural but still sturdy. Chai recommended a gel structure and I also picked out a cat eye polish. It’s exactly what I wanted!

I saw Chai’s work on instagram and she definitely exceeded my expectations! I didn’t really have any vision in mind and I’ve never been more impressed with my nails. I’ve never had GelX, but will definitely get them in the future. I flew in from NYC and will absolutely be returning every time I visit Columbus.

Tess did a phenomenal job! I came in with a reference image and it’s totally spot on. So happy with my nails. The atmosphere and ambiance was also super nice — all of the nail techs were so sweet, and they kept a very clean and organized environment. Will be back!

After my first appointment, I walked away with a huge smile. Tess did an AMAZING job on my nails. She was so attentive to detail and made sure I was happy with the final result. She is so talented!!!

I followed Deja here from her previous salon, and this is a major upgrade. Not only do I get to have my nails done by a pro that I love chatting with, but the space is nice and clean, the aesthetics are beautiful, and the treatment options are great. I will definitely be a regular. If you don’t have a go-to person at Shades, or if you’ve never been, I highly recommend Deja — regardless of whether you prefer natural or acrylic nails.

They were all super nice, and Zoey took her time doing the design that I wanted. Super satisfied.

Had an amazing experience. Went for the first time today and Elizabeth and Travis serviced my daughter and I. The service was exceptional, everyone was friendly and kind! They took their time and gave us amazing results. Our experience was phenomenal and we will definitely back.

i had audrey, she was super thorough and sweet. i have trouble keeping conversation during services, i think it’s better to just let people work, and audrey didn’t put pressure on conversation. the music was nice, water was warm, tv was playing bridgerton and service was exceptional. five stars in my book!

Absolute nail PERFECTION, and literally a work of art by Chai @shades_nailbar ! My nails were so short and damaged. So, she suggested extensions and they turned out amazing! Chai is a such a perfectionist and true artist! I can’t wait to see what she does next! OBSESSED! ❤ 💅

Tess is a genius. I went in with an idea and she turned it into a reality. Not only did she nail the design, she got me set up with the almond shape nails I always wanted but could never get right with having such a wide nail bed. This was my first time here and I will not be returning to my old salon. Truly professional, kind, and talented.

If you are looking for a Great place to get pedicure or nails done this is the place! Zoey and Sammy are both wonderful and fun to talk to! The owners are wonderful people! I will not be going anywhere else and you get a stamp card that after 6 visit you get a discount! Took my mom at thanksgiving she loved it! Zoey does amazing art work you can’t believe she paints it on they are not stickers! Love this place, I feel welcomed as soon as I walk in the door! Best nail place in Columbus as far as I’m concerned. Used to be in my neighborhood but now that I’ve moved I make a point to drive the 15 minutes. Always lively and friendly. The owners are an adorable young couple with a new baby and they treat their staff like family.

We had a great experience with Deja today. She was helpful and patient with my daughter.
