Ferguson is one of the most compassionate, personable, and charitable doctors I have ever met. He is knowledgeable and genuinely cares for individuals. I have seen him for years, and it is obvious that medicine and "taking care of people" is his calling.

Excellent physician with compassion. Staff is always professional and compassionate. I have been a patient more than 30 years and He even made house calls when my elderly Mother was sick. Simply the best.

He is personable and engaging. He's smart, thoughful and cautious. Definitely not the type of Dr. who is fast to write a script to get to the next patient. I asked about the difference between two types of medications prescribed for the same medical condition. He took the time to make a sketch easily understood by a non medical person. These days doctors don't have the luxury to spend adequate time with patients due to high costs of running a practice with increasing lower profits. Dr. Fergursun is a good doctor.

Been a patient of Dr. Ferguson for a long time, since the early 2000s. I admire Dr. F's charity work; that is very commendable. Our interactions have become rote and I believe it's better for me to find another doctor at this point. His staff is wonderful and pleasant. One complaint is when you take a test, say, blood test you should get a call if something isn't right. They never called me to let me know I had high cholesterol on a blood test I took in November I recently asked for a copy and was surprised to see my cholesterol level, I should have definitely have been made aware of that.

Slowly passivagressive with patients, you will see he is way out of date (not good for patient care) & while he is kind, he becomes slowly passivagressive with patients. You will slowly come to realize that he makes jokes and small talk to make you happy, but not to so much medical care. Cordial at best, been rude to me at worst. We have laughed and talked about things, like sports for example, like other reviews may suggest, but is office is embarrassingly old. He uses a type writer for his documents, has a single computer to prescribe (the wrong!) medications my new doctor told me. Maybe he has been doing this too long, because the posters are laughable; from the 1970-1990's. The rooms, hallways, are a mess of files. That is, by the way when the RUDE nurses call you in. Appt. at 12:00pm? You won't be called it to 12:30-40 minimum! Everytime, not just once. The the few secretaries are BEYOND NASTY AND RUDE, and you guessed it, EVERYTIME! They barely want to book your appt's, they could care less. So egotistical they wont get up to help the eldderly get in the small waiting room. Simply 1 doctor (Ferguson) and understaffed on secretaries and nurses; it just is not fair for us to wait so long because you keep taking patients, or should I say, their copayments. Dr. Ferguson will answer questions, to basic doctor things (blood drawn, vitals, etc.), but slowly talk less medical and more personal and your issues medically get neglected. Has weird responses to simple questions. Just walk into his "room", his "patient rooms:, and his hallways. They are dusty, dirty, stacked, soooooo bad. It's like you just stepped back to the 1900's. Not good all around. Do yourself and your health a favor and find a Northwell (independent patient here) provider down the street.
