Stop & Shop

Went to Stop & Stop last night and was standing in the aisle completely clueless of where to find what I needed. I was approached by Mike a staff member who was walking by and could clearly tell I was looking for something but couldn’t find it. He took me to the aisle and we found exactly what I was looking for ( Caribbean seasoning) he was very attentive, attention to detail and warm. I was having a rough day and just by him picking up on my need for help and assisting me, completely turn around my day. GO MIKE! Your awesome. If he was in the medical field I would have definitely hired him to work in my facility because his customer service is excellent!

Love love this stop and shop location. Everyone is always super helpful, smiling and friendly. Every department shines. I sometimes go in thinking of only getting a few things and I always have somebody coming over with a cart to help that works there. Erica in the floral section is always so kind and does such a beautiful job on the prettiest flower arrangements. Customer service truly cashiers and those stocking the shelves. Great job East Islip team!

Clean and organized store, great deals, the employees are helpful and friendly. The parking lot is great. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone 👌🏻

I love the employees from the produce department, deli, to the meat department! They are very sweet and welcoming. Kathy at checkout always has stickers for the kids and the check out staff is very helpful. The customer service is also very helpful. This is my favorite stop and shop . Always fresh and clean

Great clean store. Bakery is excellent. Olive bar is really top shelf at 8.99 lb.
Fried chicken is WAY better than KF Chicken. Produce dept is loaded with choice of organic fruits and veggies as well as regular.
Follow the sales flyer and online coupons for best deals and get 10 cents /gal for every $100.00 spent too. And MARTY the robot

Always stocked up and lines move quickly. The older people are usually taking up all the non-self check out so I would recommend just using self check out.

Great prices and gas credits - what's not to like ?!

Large supermarket that is always well stocked! They have cashiers, self checkouts and scanners so you can bag your groceries as you shop. Store is kept clean.

There is no perfect supermarket. But if I'm gonna dole out 5 stars, it makes sense awarding them to this location. I didn't know how much i would missed shopping here until i moved away. Great selection, clean store with spacious aisles, friendly employees. Now that I'm back living in the general area, i make a point to visit the East Islip location, even though it's not the closest to my new home.

When the check out attendant randomly starts a conversation with you and isn't rushing you out the door, you know you're at the right grocery store. Definitely will be coming back.

Love this place because everything is always fresh and they have a large variety of all items. Fresh seafood department, large meat section, always a wide, fresh variety of produce. They recently added a hot food bar which frequently offers a delicious glazed salmon that's delicious! I do wish they had a salad bar like Wegmans. Prices are good and they now offer a process where you could pick up a code price scanner and put your groceries directly into your take home bags after scanning the price on your hand held scanner so at the check out all you do is pay what the scanner shows and leave. Always clean, bright, comfortable and well staffed.

It’s the most amazing! Stop and Shop supermarket! It’s a true! The Neighborhood! Supermarket! Specially the meat department guys!! And the wonderful cashers! They are absolutely the best!! That is the reason I shop there , personal service! I always! Order my holidays and all my party’s meat from them ! Let’s keep the American Culture!! Alive! It starts where all the Neighborhood supermarket! Who everyone knows who you are !

I just wanna say that the stop and shop in East Islip is amazing! Brandon the cashier and the manger ( not sure the name) both were so nice and helpful. The self check out computer wasn’t working for me and they both had a lot of patience with us and the computer.the refunded the money back and everything was good! Thank you😁

Love this location but THEY NEED MORE VARIETY. So many things can no longer be bought while stuff that no one is buying sits on the shelf. stock the things that are selling out. Buy more and work on your inventory people

Very nice guy who does the carts I think he also worked at the other Stop n Shop in Bayshore

great store, it’s clean, and modern looking. one request is that you order more of the Ruffles All Dressed potato chips, my family and friends love them but are hard to find, please order more

The fruit when you walk in is very tempting. So I bought a lot of fruit. I was very happy when I got home. Usally I pig out on junk cookies but the plums and cherries was a super bonus to start my diet. Lol. Lol

Great amount of different foodstuffs, If you are a cheese lover Stop and Shop is your store. Don't forget the Pharmacy , very helpful in explaining not only the benefits but the side effects of your medication.One Stop shopping.
