What a fun place! Great staff, great beer, fun games. It is the perfect place to relax with friends, have a drink, and enjoy a very low key bar.
It is not fancy but one of the best dive bars in Columbus.

I only stopped by here to get a drink after work.
This bar only has like 5 parking spots and one entrance. It's a very local bar from the patrons to the bartenders to the vibe itself. It feels... great. From the Monday and Wednesday evenings I came in here if was quiet and had actually good music playing. Punk, rock, indie and blue grass.
There's this big old bartender that has a beard that sticks out from his mask that made me feel very welcome, automatically knowing it was my first time here.
The bar has a golf game by the front that people play and watch.
1 pool table i haven't seen used but as I'm looking around now I need to give credit to their beer selection!
Even in covid times this bar didn't lose its charm. Highly recommend just to sit at a bar that no one knows you but treats you like you've been there your whole life.

Sydney and Pauly are saints.
So many good beers on tap. If you don't like any of the numerous options, look in the cooler. Bobs has cans and bottles you can't find anywhere else.

Comes across as a dingey dive bar. That's the atmosphere. But the staff are the friendliest I've met in a long time. Craft / import beer selection is off the charts. They don't sell food, but you can carry in whatever you want. AWESOME hole in the wall place!

Went shortly after they opened with a group of 9 plus a dog. Bartender was super friendly and gave us a water bowl for the dog - Enjoyed a beautiful day on the patio outside. Come here and support a locally owned business.

Yesterday [10-8-2022], I briefly visited Bob's Bar [also known as "The Cultural Hub of the Midwest"] at 4961 N. High St. immediately south of the Graceland Shopping Center.

Since my name is Bob, I have wanted to visit Bob's Bar ever since first having learned about that bar. I had not had the opportunity until yesterday to visit Bob's Bar because I am usually riding past there (1.) in a car [with someone else driving] or (2.) on a #2 [or #102] COTA bus [with someone else driving]. Neither of those situations has ever provided the best opportunity for me to visit there.

Yesterday had been a great time for me to visit Bob's Bar because I had been walking south from the Graceland Shopping Center, with sufficient time to briefly visit Bob's Bar, while on my way to an event at Mozart's Cafe [five blocks to the south].

I spent only eight minutes at Bob's Bar yesterday but very much enjoyed my brief visit.

I first took several photographs of the illuminated "1960s-style" "BOB'S BAR" sign above the front door and then entered the building. I told the woman behind the bar that my name is Bob [to explain why I had wanted to visit there]. I told her that I would be taking a few photographs for Google Maps; I then walked around for the next several minutes and took several photographs.

My practice, whenever I am taking photographs for Google Maps, is to include as few people as possible in those photographs. It would have been great to have taken a photograph of a small group of people playing darts though I chose not to do so. I did take a photograph of a not-being-used-at-the-time pool table because no people had been nearby.

I made sure to take a photograph of the huge "BOB'S BAR" sign that had been painted [using two-foot-tall capital letters] on the interior wall of Bob's Bar immediately inside of the front entrance; I also took a photograph of the wall behind the bar that includes an "Elvis-Presley-themed" neon sign.

If you are in the vicinity of the Graceland Shopping Center and you are looking for a small neighborhood bar, I recommend that you check out Bob's Bar.

I've always loved this place. The crowd and atmosphere are relaxed and interesting, and the bartenders know their stuff when it comes to beer. This IS a beer bar, after all. Their liquor selection is also discerning, however. I have great memories of playing pool and darts with friends over the years.

This is the beer bar you’re looking for. Amazing draft list without the pretentious environment. Great spirit selection as well. Bob’s is a great place to hang out that just happens to have the best beer menu in the city.

It's been a fantastic night at Bobs bar! Great choice of beers. The front and the area looks uninviting but you'll feel well inside! Much recommended.

Such an awesome place. Pauly the Bartender is a top notch guy. This place is like Cheers everyone knows everyone, but it's such a welcoming place regardless. All different walks of life. Great drinks, awesome beer selection, pool tables, and the internet jukebox is great. This is going to be my place to stop from now on when I'm in Columbus. I've never had so much fun in a bar before and the beers and drinks are all reasonably priced. Stop in for a few cold drinks and some laughs and you'll see why they call it "The Cultural Hub of The Midwest"

This is one of the best little bars in town I have ever been to. The staff is AMAZING!! the beer/drink selection is amazing and its nice that they have a spot right out front that you can take your drink out with you if you are a smoker. The bar is a bit on the small side so expect to be near someone if you go in on a busy day- and there are many of those- but other then that I recommend this place to any beer enthusiast

One of the, if not THE, best beer selections anywhere in Columbus. Always rotating, full of a variety of every kind of beer, from stouts, porters and IPA's (rye, New England, American), to sours, lagers, pilsners and more. Love this spot. Take the World Tour and try 100 of their best selections around the world.

If you are in Columbus for one night and love independent craft beer, Bob's Bar is the first place you should go. They have the best, most comprehensive collection of hard-to-find draft beer in the city, their staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their suds, and their atmosphere as "The Cultural Hub of the Midwest" is fantastic. The only thing that I wish they would do different is offer short-pours so you could try more of their beers without having to commit to full pints or snifters. One of my favorite destinations in the city
