Chelsea's Restaurant

We are in town for a wedding and decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews. We DEFINITELY made the right choice. My hubby had the hash and cheese omelette and I had the eggs and hash. We also had pancakes and a side of bacon. The food was DELISH and we didn’t have to wait that long. The restaurant was clean and the customer service by the staff was exceptional! Highly recommend this place if you are looking to experience a satisfying brunch… A+++

Absolutely love Chelsea's Restaurant in Middletown, RI! It has a clean, inviting atmosphere and the staff is incredibly friendly. But the real star is the food! Their dishes are absolutely delicious and their coffee is the best I've ever had. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot in Newport County, Chelsea's is the place to go!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for breakfast and wasn’t let down. The staff was great and very attentive. I had the Hash & Eggs, which comes with homefries and toast, along with that, I ordered a side of bacon and a coffee. Once I ordered my food, it was only about 5 minutes until my meal made its way to the table. I was in and out in about 35 minutes. Will definitely visit again!

I grabbed an early breakfast, special pancake of the day and scrambled egg. They were good.

What I love about this place is it’s atmosphere. This place is like the theme song of the sitcom “Cheers”. The owners knew all the customers that came in and the customers knew each other. Hearing their conversations, you can sense the human connections between them. I love this sense of community this place has nourished.

Simply an amazing experience. The owner/ manager / server and life of the restaurant oozes such a positive energy that it makes this place feel like home. Even for out of towners such as ourselves. The food smells amazing. I haven't been served yet but have very high expectations . Place is small and quaint which makes this even a better experience for us.

Every time I'm in the neighborhood I stop here. I've known the owners for many years, they're good people, the food is always good and reasonably priced.

Service with the best smile ever 😀 food was exactly what I wanted. Tasty and a lot of it. So much that I couldn't finish! 10/10 would recommend. Will be returning next time I'm in town.

What a warm and welcoming establishment. Service was fast and efficient. Our server was friendly and you could tell she was loved by the locals. Pancakes, breakfast sandwich and home fries were delicious! Great cup of coffee. So happy we found this place for breakfast.

Absolutely amazing. The service was fantastic and so friendly. The food was very reasonably priced and there was a ton of it. On top of all this the food was TASTY. Chelsea’s is doing it right. Go here immediately. Come here regularly. If anywhere deserves your business it’s this place. Love love love.

Large portions for a reasonable price. Dropped into Chelsea’s for brunch ordered their sweet bread french toast as a recommended by our server; I was surprised they had a variety of bread options. Their home-fries were great too, not over done and the bacon was nice and crispy. Their western omelette was delicious! Every bite was packed with toppings.

Best breakfast in Newport. Can’t go wrong here. Treated us like family!

Awesome breakfast and incredibly inexpensive! It was clear from the clientele that this is a local favorite ... and from their hours it's clear this is a blue collar establishment for those who have to go to work early. While I'm in town, that's me, and I'll be stoked to go to Chelsea's for breakfast all week.

Just a good old-fashioned small eatery with simple yet tasty food and hearty locals. Nothing fancy so don’t go there expecting that. Also, cash only!

This is most definitely a local spot. it became our “go to spot” for breakfast. The food is good, the service is fast, prices are very reasonable. Wide variety of options on menu boards. The staff is friendly.
