Holiday Inn Express & Suites Modesto-Salida, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was easy to find. The room (1 King, 1 Queen, 1-Bed Suite) was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The room was also clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The bathroom door was a bit awkward to navigate because of how it opened into the area where the mini-fridge was located, but that’s just a minor irritation. Overall, it was a good value for the price point, and exactly what we expected.

We were coming through this area around 1am. I had stayed at a different hotel across the street before, so I went there first. The lady there was very rude and tried to charge us $40 more because it was after midnight. I called over to the Holiday Inn and spoke with Daniel. He was behind nice and helpful. We immediately drove over to this hotel. Daniel helped us at the front desk. We needed 2 rooms. He said he didn't have 2 regular rooms together. He upgraded us for free so that the rooms could be next door. After unloading, I brought the cart back down, and he thanked me and made sure the rooms were up to our standards. Yes, the rooms were great, but the customer service was unmatched.

I found myself needing a place to stay for 3 weeks and I am glad I picked Holiday Inn on bangs. I felt safe, both my work van and personal vehicle were safe. Everyone was polite, everything was clean. The breakfast was awesome especially the biscuits and gravy. They have a safe in every room so I was able to lock up my iPad and stuff while I was at work. Because of the location there is no homeless people looking to steal stuff. It’s right next to the freeway. I literally have nothing but good things to say, no complaints at all. They have a nice washer and dryer so I was able to do my laundry no problem. It’s my new home away from home and would not even think of staying anywhere else. Good people!

The housekeeping crew is topnotch.
The management is even better.
I have crew of 11 men with some leaving and new one coming and going all week long .
The front desk was very patient with us until the understood our needs and then the issue of.e having to schedule people and rooms became an almost non-existent item for me, in my busy schedule ..they handled everything and knew before I even knew what was going on with the scheduling of my crews for rooms ..if you have a construction project in the Salida /Modesto area . I strongly suggest you stay at this hotel. My life has been much easier on this project due to all of office staff and the housekeeping staff as well. My crew is known for being really messy and the housekeepers kept rooms above and beyond clean .Thank you ! Easy check-inand very friendly staff. I found the lobby and the rooms very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and diverse with a lot. Easy internet access. I came to see a relative in the hospital and the hotel is down the street 10 minutes away. Plus close to a lot of restaurants and the mall.

So this is now, my third time staying at this hotel, and I have to mention that checking in I met Nicole, at the front desk, and she is very sweet, very knowledgeable, and very helpful with the check-in and all your hotel stay needs. I recommend this hotel not only to family, but also friends and I five star this hotel but again I want to 10 star Nicole at the front desk. Don't ever get rid of this employee, she is one of the best IHG associates I've had met in my travels this year, and the last past years.

Nice hotel, clean and large enough rooms. Easy to get to but also right next to the freeway; but not noisy inside the rooms. There is a Boomers next door if you have kids and the free breakfast is very good and pretty comprehensive.

As always when we come to modesto we stay here they take good care of the property never nothing to complain about.

Definitely one of the nicer/nicest Holiday Inn’s I’ve been too in quite some times. It’s priced quite well in this ridiculous economy, the staff is very nice and extremely helpful. They clean daily, provide you with anything you need. The Gym could be a tad bigger but it is 24/7, a long with laundry. I believe they said the pool is heated and the King standard rooms are very comfortable. 100% would recommend. I’m a corporate customer and we normally stay with Hilton properties but here in Modesto you cannot beat IHG, the equivalent Hilton is much further away from our job site here and the Hilton property that is close to here cost way too much and they charge for parking. Ridiculous.

Out of all of the Holiday Inns that I have stayed at, this one is at the top of my list. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My girlfriend and I had originally planned on staying one night, but after speaking with Daniel at the front desk, he was able to get me a great rate for an additional two nights, so we ended up staying. He gave us extra towels, trash bags, and toiletries. He also continued to go above and beyond by giving us recommendations on places to eat around the area. Daniel, who was working the night shift, provided excellent customer service and he made our experience even more enjoyable. If anyone deserves to be employee of the month, it should be Daniel. My girlfriend and I will definitely be coming back to this location the next time we are in Modesto.

Stayed for a business trip. Location was great. Not far from stores, food and gas. Very clean inside and out. Modern room with thankfully USB plugs next to the bed. The staff was very nice. Will stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend as I was very impressed. Loved the breakfast bar and amenities.

I wasn't staying there in a room. I actually was there in a conference room. Which was very comfortable spacious and the air quality is great. You have full access to the heat and air to change for yourself. You're not set at a certain temperature. Very nice.

This is my second time checking in to stay in this hotel property. The staff here is always been very comforting, and very knowledgeable and very great help when you're checking in. This is my first time meeting Nicole, and she is definitely a 10 star in my book. I do come to this hotel twice a year, and will continue to come here and stay at this location when I'm working in the Modesto area.

This hotel is so comfortable and has so many nice amenities. We enjoyed our stay here, the breakfast is so yummy, and front desk staff are very nice. Rooms have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a coffee maker.

Stayed here 2 nights. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was good. Location is right off the freeway. Recommend this hotel if you are staying in Modesto.

This was a great place to stay, conveniently off the freeway. I was even able to use their self-service laundry due to a longer than anticipated trip. Hot breakfast included!
