discharge myself from ER, cab arrive exactly at time estimated, lady was kind and patient. got me to my Pharm a very short walk from my home, and was concerned about my making that walk. i did my business after handing her 2 $5 bills, and told her to get a couple good burgers. wife and i have been using B&W for nearly 40 years. would recommend any day or time.

This is the largest taxi company in Hampton Roads area. The drivers are all independent contractors, and it is a family-owned and operated business. The cab company keeps their cabs well-maintained, and has up to date equipment to help expedite dispatching, and eliminate navigation errors. As with any place you go, there could always be a bad seed or two, but most of the drivers and staff at the company are well-mannered and professional. The owner of the cab company takes a personal interest in customer satisfaction, and swiftly addresses any complaints. You can rest easy when riding in the taxi vs their competition, Uber and Lyft, as they go through a thorough background check with the police department every two years. This is to ensure that you were riding safely. Remember as previously stated, the drivers there are all independent contractors, and should be treated as any other service industry employee. That means that they do work for tips, and do not get paid by the hour. So if you receive a good service from a driver, remember to tip accordingly. Also, most people are quick to call and make a complaint on somebody, but if you received exceptional service, take the time to call and compliment your driver. if you look at the side of the taxi there is a number assigned to that Taxi. If you are complimenting or complaining, that is all you need is the date, time, and number of the taxi that you were riding in. I hope this review helps to enlighten people on how the taxi industry works. I have heard more times than I can remember that people believe the taxi drivers get paid by the hour.

My driver was great! Gave me tips about the location. I had to travel to a location and drop some things off then proceed to another location. He waited outside and was very friendly. Once I called the dispatch he arrived within 10 minutes. Overall great service!

We had an excellent experience with black and white cabs! Our prior arrangements to take us to the airport fell through (uber) very last minute and we were extremely pressed for time. I called and within 10 minutes our taxi arrived! Our driver was Kevin, he was very professional, he sensed our urgency, and got us to the airport quickly! He was very nice and conversed with us. This was our very first taxi ride, and you can bet when I'm visiting the area again, I will call black and white taxis! Thanks so much Kevin! Keep up the good work!

Friendly punctual drivers. I always call back automated line to make sure my call was dispatched. Sometimes the automated system on phone kicks you out. The app works much better.

They picked me up from Norfolk Airport and got me to my destination safely. Can’t complain.
