Dr. Derrick E. Ridley, MD

Went to see Dr. Derrick Ridley, MD recently and first time meeting him, he is great and fantastic. Going, soon for a Stress Test and I feel he is right on things, he definitely takes things seriously which is tremendously important when it comes to your health. I will consider him as being my Cardiologist.

Dr. Ridley became my doctor unexpectedly in 2018 due to my own negligence. He is professional and friendly and goes out of his way to make sure that I am on the right track and if I am not, he lets me hear it.

I couldn't be happier with a doctor. He talks to me like a friend, while simultaneously using the best clinical experiences to guide him. I really enjoy going there for my cardiac health needs. Will strongly recommend him to anyone that needs a cardiologist.

Dr Ridley is the best and my GP dr supports this too. If you are looking for a friend- no, but if you want the best CARDIAC care -yes , don’t expect a busy Dr to hold your hand, a nurse can do that, THIS is a doctor that will give you the best care possible, I am putting my life in his hands and you can too.

Dr. Ridley is fantastic. I've been going to him for several years. I've had open heart surgery and have electrical issues as well. Dr. Ridley doesn't mess around and gets necessary tests done right away. I highly recommend him.

My name is Donna Scott. Dr Ridley is an AWESOME, KIND, and RESPECTFUL doctor. From his first visit with me in ICU, our first meeting, he is still the same 7 years later. His bedside manner is one of caring, having your best interest at heart and welcoming. He never disappoints. He is just so kind and a CONSTANT PROFESSIONAL.

I have never been disappointed in anyone in Dr Ridley's office. Dr Ridley's did see dad before he died for the VA Doctors n I was satisfied. I like him n his PA and nurses.

The nuclear tests indicated a blockage. Dr. Ridley checked me with a stethoscope and good o'le doctoring and said the test is wrong, you're fine. I still opted for the catheterization to be 110% sure. By golly he was right. Arteries look great. Thanks Dr Ridley. You're the real thing!!

Dr. Derrick Ridley & Nurse Practitioner Robin Kimmeth are phenomenal clinicians that care tremendously about their patients! They also have talented employees, specifically Miss MiMi. Hands down one of the best Cardiac teams that I’ve come across during my health journey. I will definitely be recommending Hampton Roads Cardiology to all of my family & friends. My mom came to dr Ridley after being sent home from er twice . She was experiencing chest pain , high bp told not her heart . Within minutes he diagnosed blockage put her in wheel chair straight to surgery in Hampton.!Surgergy began came out moved her to Norfolk to complete due to how severe blockage was ! He certainly saved her life his concern,education and actions were a gift from God ! Thank you sir
