I drove over 30 minutes to try this place out to see if it was worth the hype... Let me tell you that this place was worth the drive!! The Mac n cheese was amazing! The greens were incredible! The ribs were untouchable!! They gave me BBQ sauce but I felt like I disrespected the ribs by putting the sauce. Those ribs were perfect just the way they were. The ribs even made me sing because they were so good!!! Do yourself a favor and GO SEE THEM!!

We were craving BBQ and hit up Google to see what we could find and stubled upon this absolute GEM! It was about an hour to close so Unfortunately we couldn't try everything but we will definitely be back to do so! The gentleman working was super friendly and served us up some pretty heaping portions within a few minutes. My husband and I both tried the pulled pork and brisket with Mac and cheese. Hubby also got a side of beans which he said were very good. The Mac and cheese was TO DIE FOR! their menu states it's a 6 cheese recipe and it is definitely over the top delicious. The pulled pork had amazing flavor all by it's self but I did try the sweet sauce as well, wasn't for me personally, but was certainly original and tasty. The brisket had phenomenal flavor with an excellent crust and that melt in your mouth bit of fat you expect in a good brisket. Topped off with a nice moist slice of cornbread. Cannot wait to go back and hopefully try the Cole slaw next time. Definitely an awesome little stop for some great BBQ!

Everything was great, but the beans and the brisket were the stars of the show! The brisket was so tender and the beans were full of flavor. This was our first time, but we will definitely be regulars now. The customer service was also excellent. They even brought our order out to our car! Prices are very fair for the large portions they give you. The three BBQ sauces we tried were all tasty as well.

The absolute best pull pork of my life! I had the 8oz sandwich and it was to die for. My husband had the baby back ribs that were great as well! And the brisket although a little salty for me, still waters my mouth. It's a must stop if you are in the area! Just beware that they don't have seating outside, only for take out.

I first went to Laurie Cue in 2017 when the truck was located next to Marker 48 and had a different name. I got the double deuce with pork and brisket. It was so big I took half home. Jump to the present same great food, different location. We got several times a month. I’ve had everything on the menu and enjoyed the food. The service is over and above what you receive in other restaurants. I feel like extended family when I’m there. The green beans are to die for! I husband has even tried replicating them at home when we just can’t get there. The Petey (my absolute favorite)and Milkee sauces are my go to sauces but my husband loves the OG sauce. His favorite sandwich is the PigPen. The name alone tells you it’s over the top. Every year we provide lunch to our doctor’s office staff. This year they requested Laurie Cue all meats platter. They said everything was delicious but their favorite was the brisket because it was so juicy.

This was my first visit. I had the baked beans and a brisket sandwich. The beans were tasty with a bit of a kick. The brisket was SUPER tender and not dry, but it was also not seasoned, so it needed bbq sauce. I tried the sweet and the sizzling heat. This was the only drawback. I wasn't a fan of the sauces. The sweetener used, maybe honey, didn't mess with the beef for me. I gave 5 stars because it seemed silly to take away for the sauce, which was a side note. If I go back, I'll just use my fave sauce at home. Loved the tenderness of the brisket! Best I've had outside of Texas.

LaurieCue is a grand slam for a BBQ meal. Definitely give these guys a stop when you’re driving down. Laurie is the sweetest gal along with her amazing crew Chaz and Amber!

Amazing BBQ and service. Super flavour and portions. Surprisingly great tables in behind! They don't sell drinks so you have lots of options at the gas station next door.

I tried the smoked lasagna special they offered one night and wow was it delicious!! Truly a unique homemade dish that you cannot get anywhere else. I can’t even begin to say how great this place is! You get to eat delicious food and drink delicious brews at marker 48.

Best bbq I’ve ever had in my entire life. (Don’t tell my papaw)

Chaz at the window is the literal best & I’m pretty sure pit mistress laurie’s hands were blessed by god himself. The mac n cheese has the most unique blend of cheeses I’ve ever tasted, soooo good. The greens will make you slap your husband and file a divorce, hoping laurie is single and will accept your proposal so you never have to miss a day of this deliciousness.

If you haven’t stopped by this hidden gem of hernando county, that needs to change!! Go enjoy a day on the weeki wachee river & unwind at lauriecues picnic tables with a hearty brisket sandwich. If I could give it 60 stars, I would.

The rub on these ribs was amazing! So glad I stopped by this cute little place. Prices were slightly high but when you try the food it's worth it completely. I'd most definitely stop again if I were in the area. And HOLY CORNBREAD 😍 Absolutely delicious.

I mean I just don’t know what to say. Wow. Unbelievably great barbecue. I have been trending towards brisket because I just couldn’t find good pulled pork but this place restored my faith in great pig. The brisket and coleslaw was fantastic by the way also

Went there for the first time today had the pulled pork 6 oz sandwich very good with the honey barbecue sauce love the macaroni pork was cooked perfectly price is a little high no lunch specials overall though a five-star experience

I've lived and eaten barbecue all over this beautiful country and LaurieCue outshines them all nationwide. LaurieCue's rub is something special and her Hottie sauce is to die for. Bottle that sauce, baby! But as good a the sauce is, it's not necessary to the LaurieCue experience. All you need is a slice of LaurieCue's tender, juicy brisket, and your world will change. You will search the country high and low but you'll be ruined for other barbecue. Do yourself a favor, head to LaurieCue then head to the beach and enjoy a nap in the sun.

AAAAAAAAmazing que! Traveled 2hours to check this little gem out and was not disappointed! The brisket was on point, beautiful smoke ring, moist and delicious! Chicken was not to smokey which is a great thing because you can taste the rub, smoke and more importantly the chicken itself! The Pig Pen sandwich with her Carolina vinegar sauce was just what this fellow BBQ fanatic needed to make the trip back home.
If you are in the area, make sure you stop in and say hello and grab some grub! Heck, if ya feel up for drive, make the trip there as you won't be disappointed!

WOW. Didn’t know what to expect and was absolutely blown away. DELICIOUS. Ordered the brisket without bbq sauce and it was some of the most juicy, tender, perfectly smoked/seasoned brisket I’ve ever tasted. Green beans and collards were equally amazing. Stopped by on Friday for lunch and decided on the 2 meat lunch combo. Ordered brisket and pork with the OG sauce. Sides: collards and mac & cheese. My order was taken by a wonderfully nice man who said he’d deliver my food right to my car. I was so happy to have missed the green light so that I could start eating right in the car. My trip home was a little over 10 minutes and I couldn’t wait to really get into it. The most amazing thing was that the collards were hot. I mean hot like right outa the pan hot. Even a 1/2 hour later they were still hot! Everything was exceptional. I highly recommend LaurieCue! You won’t be disappointed!

Order pulled pork and chicken sandwiches and sides tonight and it was delicious ! The chicken was cooked to perfection and as always Mac n cheese was great.
