Jabo's BBQ and Seafood

As a Maryland blue crab lover I was in the mood for some blue crabs on the Gulf side of Florida. My wife saw Google reviews of JABO’s in Hernando Beach. The seafood platter (fish, shrimp, scallops) and the steamed blue crabs were so good we almost ate the shells. I will be a weekly repeat customer.

Best little food truck around. Highly recommend. Give them till about noon and they'll give you the best freshest philly cheese steak there is. They have really good country sides too. Their pulled chicken is great too.

We ordered Jabo's special seafood cajun and half and half for rib& pulled pork.
Fries were EXCEPTIONALLY crispy until we finished the meal.
BBQ sauce was not too sweet or salty. Pulled pork was juicy, not dry at all. Ribs were very soft to enjoy.
You can adjust the spicy level for the cajun based menus. For my order, there was a blue crab, mussels, clams, potato, sausage and egg.
This sauce was really good. You can't go wrong with this menu. You must try this Jabo's special cajun menu.
The owner was very professional, humble, and friendly. We will definitely visit this place again for real.

We were making a round trip Florida and looking for a typical great grill truck. We found this one on Google and we are so glad we headed there. The owner is so kind and a master griller. The sandwich ribs and sandwich brisket tasted finger licking good!

After reading so many great reviews on our vacation, I drove a couple of towns over to give it a try. It has the food truck set up, which was okay with me since some of the tastiest food I've had has been from food trucks. I ordered my husband the rib plate, which came with 2 sides for $12. You really can't beat the price and the food smelled so good. I don't eat ribs but the smoky smell had me tempted. I ordered the blue crabs, which are sold by the dozen for $24. There were several people ordering the crabs so I knew then that they would have some decent weight to them or I wouldn't have seen so many customers during my short visit. The food was everything we expected and more. Not only was the food great but the service was outstanding!

I finally ordered from here & Omgness deliciousness all around! What a hidden Gem! The owner was super friendly, the food was nice and fresh with great flavors! I will be ordering from here more often.. The prices are not bad and the portions are pretty big!

Jabo’s food is simply outstanding, and his dedication to customer service is unparalleled. Despite living 30 minutes away, we gladly make the drive to indulge in his delicious BBQ and sides, bypassing closer options that just don’t measure up. Beyond the delectable food, Jabo himself is a true gentleman, always greeting us with a warm smile and genuine generosity.

In every bite, Jabo’s food evokes cherished memories of the delicious BBQ meals I enjoyed at my grandmother’s house after Sunday church services. It’s a taste of home and tradition that we simply can’t resist.

Oh my goodness! We own a meat market and are pellet grillers. I'm a bit particular about my meat and thought the pulled pork was delicious! I can't wait to get back and try the rest of the menu!

I love Jabo's. I'm a regular customer who has had fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried flounder, french fries, corn bread and collard greens. I'm a picky eater but plan on trying some other dishes. If I could I'd eat there every day. The service is exceptional.

Jabo's is the best. My wife and I got the barbecue sampler and it was super delicious. More than enough food for two people. It was actually enough food for a family of four. Good value. Also, he gives you a big bowl of delicious barbecue sauce. Highly recommended and would definitely go again.

OMG if you haven't had you're missing out!!! The smoke flavor is divine, overall everything we've order is beyond!!! Rack of ribs, pulled pork sandwich, seafood, its all OMG!!!

In town from Atlanta for a few days. Read the reviews and went for lunch. 5 ⭐ doesn’t due the flavor and quality justice. Portion size could be a little larger but for the price we were very happy. Highly recommend! Definitely add on the corn bread! Warm, moist and perfect. Friendly service and delivered as promised.

Beef, chicken, fish, sides, THE BEST collard greens EVER!! Jabo's is a must-have at least once a week when I'm in town. So much flavor. Leftovers are even good cold!!

Real southern BBQ & Cajun cooking. Jabo takes your order, them cooks. A genuine restaurant on wheels. Large portion sides too.

The guy is a real pit master and I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. I surely have to go back to try the brisket. It doesn't look great from the outside but you're set to have an incredible surprise if you try this dude's food truck. Very much recommended!

Beyond amazing. I got the Philly cheese steak and my hubby got the pulled chicken. Just beyond delicious. Worth the money. And the customer service is over and beyond. Support mom and pop places and try this joint out. You won't be dissapointed.

Jabo’s bbq was delicious. I had spare ribs. He gives you sauce on the side and his sauce is sweet but delicious. If you order other stuff like fries or fried shrimp he makes it fresh so you have to wait a few minutes but it’s worth it.

We were originally looking for live blue crabs. Drove to Hernando Beach in hopes to find some. Nope- but found this food truck. We ordered the family sampler which feeds 4- delicious. We were not disappointed. I’ll recommend calling ahead of time if you're going to order the family sampler as it's made fresh to order. Return customer!
