Just have to say that the owner and cook is such a nice person. Got the amazing Jerk chicken large and small platers with rice &beans and cabbage vegetable mix and sweet plantains ,such great flavors! Portions are big.He also gave me a sample of his oxtail which I never had .... it was amazing. Getting oxtail next .Two thumbs up.

Absolutely amazing and delicious!!! It’s like I was eating my mother’s food. Delicious and tasty, the oxtail is tender and cooked well….I like my plantains cooked smaller/skinnier but that’s okay.

Not much of a dining area so I definitely recommend take out. The food is fantastic! I have the jerk chicken special with a side of their scotch bonnet sauce. It came with red beans and rice, a warm cabbage salad, and a fried plantain. They also have a Jamaican soda I love called Ting. It's a grapefruit soda. I'll definitely be stopping in again!

Ordered for the first time today and was blown away by the food and service. The owner was so kind and answered any questions I had. I am a notoriously picky eater and must say this far exceeded my expectations. I look forward to order here again . I highly recommend you to try it you will not be disappointed 😁.

Can we please give this place more stars!?? I don't even know where to begin! Just went there for the first time today and I am definitely going to be a regular now! The food is finger licking good!! So much food!! 😋 What a hidden gem! I never drive on that road too much, so I never knew it was there. But the food is so ridiculously delicious!! Will be back again 100%

Great food! Since the owner is the only cook you have to call in advance for some of the specials but it's worth it. The pic I took is of a half order of the jerk chicken with rice and plantains. Very good!

I don't have a picture to share of the food I ordered because I busted it down! Today I came in an ordered the curry shrimp with rice and pees with vegetables, a spinach patty, and vegetable patty. WOW. I never had a spinach patty and my mind was blown. Did not even make it out of the parking lot! Of course I got some oxtail gravy for the rice and it was so good. The curry shrimp was fantastic. The curry itself gets 5 stars. I live in Harlem and I am so glad Ocho Rios Cafe is in Spring Hill. A true gem in this Caribbean and Soul Food food desert. Can't wait to come back!

Best oxtails I ever had, better than I had in Ochos Rios, Jamaica outside Dunn’s River Falls. Always fresh & hot. The flavor is perfect which always makes me ask for extra gravy. I have done dine in and take out multiple times and hope they are around for a long time!

I’ve been Wanting to try this place for a while the food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the oxtail, and it was so full of flavor. Everything just melts in your mouth. Definitely a must try. Very friendly service as well.

I stopped there around 2:30p on a Friday
It was a bit hard to find because I wanted that authentic yard food experience but not many in the Brooksville/ Spring Hill area I thank God this one was open even though it took him a while to get my order ready,but guys I had to wait even longer I took the food home and after I unwind a little it was time to eat sorry I haven't mentioned what I'd gotten. I order the curry chicken with rice n peas, which comes with fried cabbage and fried plantains ( they mash it up !!!) That wasn't all I had to taste both dishes. My second order was Ox Tail. This one gave me flashbacks to when my grandmother used to cook on Sundays
It was so well seasoned and tender that the meat melted in my mouth, and the aroma was mesmerizing. I love it, Emm-Emm. Good

We ordered a pound of Oxtail, a pound of Curry Goat, the Vegetarian platter, and their Love Sauce. Would have loved to have taken pictures, but as soon as the scent of this God Sent, Amazing, and Delicious food hit our noses, my wife and I attacked it. Therefore No Pictures. This food is ridiculously flavorful and delicious. We felt like we were back in the islands on a vacation that only our tastebuds got to enjoy. This is by far the BEST food in Hernando County and some of the best food in the world. This food actually makes me believe that some things we experience cannot be put into words. All I can say is you MUST go eat at this place!!

The best Jamaican food I’ve had .The jerk. Chicken is amazing and has so much flavor and the curry chicken. The plantains are really good and the rice and beans are really good. This food just has so much flavor. I really recommend this place.

The food is absolutely delicious we always get the goat and oxtail and sometimes I get the curry chicken but they are all delicious

Just the thought of the food from Ocho Rios is enough to make my mouth water and drive up to Spring Hill (I'm in NPR). We ordered the oxtail, curry goat and jerk chicken along with the rice and peas and vegetables. Each and every dish is so delicious and superbly seasoned.

I tried the curry chicken and it was delicious!! I ordered it on Postmates and it was delivered pretty quickly. I can't wait to try this place again!

The curry goat, cabbage, and rice were delicious! The portions were huge and priced well. I’ve had ox tail from here on a previous visit and it was all just as wonderful. As for the customer service, I prefer not to carry on a long conversation when stopping to quickly pick up food, and the owner was nice and generous.

Driving down the road, saw their signs and stopped in to see what their story was all about. I definitely didn’t know what to order, but I got the Curry Chicken meal, and I think this may be one of the best kept secrets in Florida. Their fried plantains were on point, the rice and beans are perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned to offset the spicy chicken. But I found mixing the chicken and cabbage is my new favorite thing. This combination of flavors is perfectly balanced and I’m definitely excited to check out more of what these guys have to offer.

This place is amazing! It's a little hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant with delicious food. The portions are enough to feed 2 people. I love the curry chicken, it comes with a heaping portion of beans and rice, veggies and fried plantains (YUM!). If you're looking for something new and different, this is the place to go!
