I have the opportunity to work with Dr. Munasifi and his staff on behalf of clients in my psychotherapy practice. He is kind enough to take new referrals when clients really need support. Several of my clients see other professionals in his office. In every case, he and his colleagues have helped these individuals stabilize, been available when emergent situations arise and provide ongoing care that is professional, thorough and compassionate. This practice is truly devoted to relieving suffering.

What a relief! I was very nervous about my visit, but it has been one of the best things I have done in my life. Dr. Munasifi is warm and reassuring. All my questions about medication management and diagnosis were answered. Sally was thorough and sympathetic in her questioning and gave me other resources to tap into. Trust me, don't wait if you are experiencing difficulties in handling the challenges of life!

Dr Munasifi always thinks outside of the box. He has helped me manage my depression and has helped my daughter manage her bipolar. I can’t imagine life without him, especially for my difficult-to-treat daughter.

I'm 38 and have dealt with anxiety and physical pain for most of my life. I've had trouble waking in the mornings feeling rested since I was a teenager that I can remember. I've done every holistic, homeopathic option I could think of over the years from therapy to yoga, meditation, church, journaling, running, functional medicine, eating clean, cutting out inflammatory foods, etc., and I could never seem to get fully well. I'd have about two days out of a month where I felt wonderfully euphoric after being able to take a day for me, get a massage, do yoga and have peace and quiet, but let's face it, I can't do that every day of my life and function in society! My background carries an enormous amount of family dysfunction and trama and tradegy and it has carried through in my dna to a point where I literally have knots in my muscles that are painful to the touch and was feeling like I had needles in my skin. The heat caused on my neck, shoulders and the pressure in my head was becoming unbearable. The last six months have been a journey and series of therapy sessions and testing to determine how to get me out of pain. After everything came back saying I was "normal" on paper, I was finally referred to a psychiatrist and my psychologist recommended Dr. Munasifi.

I am so grateful to have been connected with him and his Nurse Practitioner, Kathy Louvaris, who listened to me and immediately knew what I needed. By the following day of beginning the new series of medication to address my PTSD and pain symptoms and anxiety, I was able to experience a completely normal day. One where I was fully present, unstressed, had zero pressure or pain and was completely flexibly in the way the day unfolded - something people with PTSD generally have a very difficult time dealing with too! If you have been on a similar journey, know that there is help, there is a solution and you deserve to live the best life you can live. It is ok to ask for help, it is ok to talk about what you're going through. Not only will it help you, but it will help others who are too afraid to speak up without encouragement.

I have been a patient of Dr. Munasifi and Sterling Corry, ARNP for a number of years. They are incredibly patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would never consider changing to a different practitioner.

The receptionist who answered the phone was rather unprofessional. After being referred by a current patient who was told that the office is taking new patients (by George a PA at the office), I called and was given a very curt, unhelpful response. The person felt the need to ask persistently who told me that the office was taking patients. Doesn't feel like an appropriate question to be asking. Furthermore, when insurance was mentioned, there was no conversation about out of pocket costs to be seen by the doctor. It is a shame because I have only ever heard great things about the doctors and nurses in the office.

I went to Dr. Munasifi for many years for clinical depression and panic/anxiety disorder. He was terrific, as was everyone on his staff. However, the last time I saw him, he was obviously in a bad mood before I even went into the room. I'd come for magnetic brain stimulation (MBS) to help the severe depressive incident I was having; normally, the medication he prescribed had helped me immensely, and I hadn't had a major depressive episode in about 13 years. I jokingly said, "Will MBS get me a job or tell me what to do with my life?" (COVID had killed my small business, which I'd run successfully since 1985.) Dr. Munasifi exploded. "You are a pessimist! You are always negative! You have been negative from the very beginning! Some people are optimists and some are pessimists. There's nothing one can do to change that." Well, WOW. Great "therapy" from a psychiatrist. Terrific way to treat a majorly depressed patient. I left in tears. I called and left voicemail. I sent him a snailmail letter. In both, I asked why he'd treated me for 15 or so years if my case were so hopeless. He didn't respond. I have found another psychiatrist who doesn't yell at me, and I'd never go back to or recommend Dr. Munasifi. I wonder how many patients he's screamed at or insulted. Have they driven their cars off the road and into a tree or telephone pole? Have they gone home and killed themselves? If they've gotten this kind of treatment, suicide is a very real possibility. I was shocked by this treatment and continue to be shocked. DO NOT EVER go to this doctor if you have clinical depression or panic/anxiety disorder.

I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Munasafi and his ARNP for a first psychiatry appointment here locally. The experience was so horrible that i ended in tears. They were rude and lacked a total sense of any professionalism and bed side manner. I would avoid seeing these physicians with every ounce of possibility. I have never been treated so poorly by medical professionals.
