My first visit to Dermatology of Associates of Tallahassee was in October and it was successful, I scheduled another visit in November for a different reason.

Dr. Bernhardt and staff were amazing. Dr. Bernhardt is very lucid in the information communicated. The entire staff if very professional with everyone displaying a friendly smile.

I’ve visited this office twice and felt that he and his team provided me the best possible care. I highly recommend this office.

The total staff from check in to assessment , to surgery and check out, was the best as it has always been since I have been going. Dr. Cognetta and his team have been top notch! You will not be disappointed

I cannot think of enough superlative adjectives to describe Sarah Skipper, PA-C. She is one of the smartest women I have ever known. Her breadth of knowledge about all aspects of the broad spectrum of diseases and disorders that affect the human body is essentially unmatched by her peers. Her depth of knowledge about dermatology is astounding. She has an uncanny ability to turn a glance into a definitive diagnosis. She then spews out what it is, why it's there, what caused it and how to treat it. Not only does she have the pharmacology of the drugs she usually prescribes down cold but she seems to know about every drug, whether it be old or brand new, that can negatively affect your skin. She tells you what to look for and what to do for it if such a drug should have an adverse skin reaction on you. She immediately brightens the exam room when she walks in. She seems always to have something complimentary to say that is just enough to make one glad he came to see her that day. True to her profession, her own skin is flawless, no doubt the combination of excellent genes and fastidious care. I prefer to deal with "physician extenders"--nurse practitioners and physician's assistants--because I feel they welcome the opportunity to deal with the health problems that many physicians find too mundane. Out of all the non-physician providers who have cared for me over the years, she is quite possibly the best prepared. She presents herself as being self-confident, professional, competent, well-trained and well-read. What shines through is her caring demeanor, her gentle touch and her genuine interest in you as a person. In addition to her complete awesomeness, she is supported by her assistant, Molly, whose warm smile, soft voice and traits similar to those of her boss just add even more pleasure to the experience. For my skin care needs there is no one else but Sarah Skipper, PA-C!

Ask for Dr. Bernhardt. Very thorough. He takes time to explain things. Pleasant and easy to talk to, and he doesn't rush you out. The nurse was extremely nice too, and the office is good about returning calls reasonably quickly.

Phenomenal practice! Tristan, one of the P.A.’s, is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and also provides excellent medical care. Had a great recent visit with him. Also, so thankful for Dr. Green, who is a wonderful dermatologist and treats his patients so very well!

The Madison County Office is a Blessing to the County. Jessica and her Team Members are professional, kind, gentle and very understanding. I will recommend.

Today was my first time visiting this office and even seeing a dermatologist. All of my concerns were addressed, and everyone was very professional. I didn't have a long wait time at all and was out in less than an hour after getting skin tags removed and scalp injections.

1/8/24: I will no longer choose this office for any dermatology services. I've requested a hair biopsy twice and the doctor and PA basically told me it's not needed. I am trying very hard to recover from hair loss and all they want to do is throw medications at me without taking a close look at my scalp to see what's needed. Why is it that I can get a trichologist to help me and tell me that my follicles are alive but dormant, but not a licensed and certified doctor? Whether you think it helps me or not, I'm requesting it and have no issues paying for it. I'm trying to exhaust all of my options, but I feel like this office isn't the best for my needs.

I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my back and about 2 inches into the muscle, I got 40 internal sutures and 20 external and it was completely healed within a week. I went back to work 3 days later and felt perfectly fine. Dr. Richardson and her assistant Nevada (who set his very first real suture on me) did amazing and I couldn't have asked for better communication and clarity on my situation.

Overall I had a delightful experience & understand why they are voted #1 in Tallahassee. I didn't have to wait long before being seen. The receptionist was polite and made me laugh. Mayra Zimmerman PA-C is a charming and meticulous Physician Assistant. She has a calming manner that made me feel more comfortable about my screening. She listened & checked every worry I had about my moles. I had to have a couple of biopsies completed & Claire took all the pain away. Thank you for my first ever skin screening Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee. I promise to take as good of care of my skin as you did today 😁

My wife and I always receive great care. The staff is friendly and greets you with a friendly hello and a smile. Sarah Skipper is thorough, addresses one's concern and quick to answer questions and providing no nonsense medical advice. Never, ever have had a negative experience.

The staff and doctors were wonderful not only at making me feel comfortable, but also extremely considerate and cared about. My surgery and healing process was quite painless, and I can barely see any evidence of surgery! Thank you for being a welcomed part of helping serve veterans when the VA needs outside help. I am truly grateful!

Dr Green is awesome. Never met someone as humble as he is and actually cares for his patience. Great family man and obviously a great man to work for. All his staff always seem happy and are very friendly. Great people!!!

I have been attended by Sarah Skipper for over a year now. They are friendly and a professional team. They are thorough and effective. Prior to her taking over my case, I saw Dr. Orson Smith for many years. My wife Susan and I are well pleased with our care.

Very professional service. Little wait time. Friendly PA and assistants. Had a very easy skin Ca removal from my hand. Little pain that night. I took out the stitches myself a week later; has healed beautifully. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Gave great instructions and answered questions.

Great experience! The staff and nurses were extremely friendly. The wait time was short. I was seen by Mayra Zimmerman, she was thorough and took time to listen to my concerns. She was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with her!!

DAT is fantastic! Dr. Cohen has amazing bedside manner and really talks you through the treatment. I never feel like I am being talked down to there like other Doctors I have had. The staff is also incredibly friendly and polite, particularly the medical assistants that see you first. I would highly recommend this practice.

I am beyond impressed with the speed in which I was seen following my biopsy results. Everything was handled so quickly and the Mohs procedure on my eyelid by Dr. Cognetta and team was done with minimal discomfort and was successful after 1 attempt! The way they coordinated my care with their partnering plastic surgeon was very streamlined and appreciated! 1 day after and you can hardly tell I had basal cell removed from my delicate eyelid! Thank you!

The absolute best dermatologist I’ve ever been to. Amy Lash, PA-C in Dr. Richardsons office saved my life. She’s not only a great physician, but a great person. She’s went above and beyond for me and words can’t explain how thankful I am for her. Thank y’all for the top tier care and dedication to help me.

This is probably the best Dermatology office in town. I have eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, & keratosis pilaris since I was 4 years old, my ezcema mostly appears on my face which is really uncomfortable. I used topical and oral steroids since I was a kid, different creams etc... Tristan H. goes out of his way to answer all questions. He works with you to address all your skin concerns rather than just telling you what to do. He prescribed me Dupixent (a shot you get twice a month). Well since Dupixent is in high tier of medicines to prescribe, I needed approval from my insurance company.. Ms. Faith S., really is a God-send. I got denied twice for Dupixent but Ms. Faith took care of it and filed an appeal again and again and I got approved! I 100% recommend going here because they are the best!!!! They take care of their patients!

Great staff! Dr.Cognetta was excellent and so was Dr.McKinney. Loved the setup with everyone working as a team. Very efficient! The phone call I received from them to check on me was very good! An added bonus!! I definitely will be using them again if necessary.
