I can't express just how thankful I am to Dr. Alfredo Paredes and the incredible staff at Tallahassee Plastic Surgery. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on December 1st, 2021. I was 33 years old and terrified of what was to come next. I needed a double mastectomy, and Dr. Paredes was HIGHLY recommended. Right from the moment I walked through their doors, I felt like I was being embraced by a team that genuinely cares, and their level of professionalism is beyond compare.

In the midst of my cancer journey, I met many doctors, but Dr. Paredes truly stood out. He took the time to sit down with me, patiently explaining every single detail of my upcoming double mastectomy. He went above and beyond, answering all of our questions and making sure we were at ease. I'll always remember leaving that day with a newfound sense of calm, ready to face what lay ahead.

Dr. Paredes, along with his incredible Physician Assistant, Lauren, and the entire squad of caring nurses, transformed what could have been an incredibly scary time into something that felt manageable and even comfortable. It felt like they were right there beside me, guiding me through a challenging year, all while delivering top-notch medical care. Each surgery was met with their infectious positivity, and they took the time to walk me through everything and make sure I was okay.

And let's talk about the results – they're nothing short of mind-blowing. Dr. Paredes is an absolute perfectionist, pouring his heart and soul into delivering excellence. You can truly see his passion for his work and his dedication to his patients in every interaction. The outcome speaks volumes about his incredible skill.

Facing breast cancer treatments had me wondering if I'd ever feel like myself again. Today, I can confidently say that my breasts look even better than they did before my double mastectomy – and that's all thanks to Dr. Paredes' exceptional artistry. It's not often you come out of such an experience looking and feeling better, but those who do owe their transformation to Dr. Paredes.

I've placed my complete trust in Dr. Paredes, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my doctor. My gratitude extends to his entire team, who have been an absolute blessing on this journey. I had diagnosed myself (because I can) some time ago with having Bilateral Temporalis Muscle Hypertrophy - a condition related to folks who have their jaw muscles (mandibular etc) hypertrophied (too large in size). My condition produces pressure, pressure headaches, etc., and the condition doesn't present the most aesthetic profile, if you know what I mean - your head will look like a lopsided eggshell. In my case, it was more like a lopsided bowling ball.

I'm funny about various medical places and there's always a concern that maybe a place you go doesn't really know what they're doing. That maybe they're just in it for the money and you'll end up worse off than you started...Concerns like that. So I put it off for sometime.

Then finally decided I needed to take some type of action and decided to got to this TPSC. No prior experience with them or any type of medical facility like this.

I'm telling you, these folks are really nice and professional. Made me feel comfortable. Discreet. Very nice facility too when first arrived. Easy check in. Didn't have to wait long. Efficient. Professional people who truly want to help.

Had/Have Megan as the primary medical professional handling me. Megan is the bomb Dot com!! Very intelligent and knowledgeable; loves her work; loves helping people; very straightforward and direct. You'll know where you stand with her. She's a quarterback, you know. Megan even patiently listened to me elaborate and pontificate on my self-diagnosis during the initial consult (which, I must say, turned out to be correct).

Any rate, I was very hesitant and unsure about it all, and so Megan was wise to provide me great information and to not try to pressure me at all to get any procedure - actually recommending that I think about it and come back for a future consult again if I wanted to.

I decided to immediately go forward with the recommended procedure, and they were ready to efficiently make it happen.

Turned out to go beyond my expectations. I noticed within 2 - 3 weeks about 50% reduction in condition. Very happy. Lost headaches and pressure sensation. Sleep better. And, I know it may be hard to believe for some of you, but I even Look Better. I gave them permission to post my resulting pics on their website so if they eventually do take a look and you'll see how with each transition I actually get better and better looking (I didn't think it was possible! - how can you improve a Michelangelo?, tell me.).

Anyway,

I definitely recommend them. Even if you're unsure you can just go in and talk with them and get some good info on whatever your condition or concern might be...Nothing to lose really. Small initial consult cost and you don't have to do anything if you don't want.

I enjoy coming here. They are professional, eager to help, and very knowledgeable. Nurse Julia is amazing! The staff at the front is great, payment is always easy and making appointments is smooth. I drive 2 hours to have an appointment here because they are worth it and are competitively priced. Very satisfied and you will he too!

Dr. Paredes was amazing. He treated us (my husband as I) with dignity respect and a fine sense of humor. My end result was amazing day 1 fresh out of surgery. He is a member in good standing with the Board of Plastic Surgery and his educational background is superb.

You cannot go wrong if you choose him. I had a baby at 40 and nursed for a year. We chose wisely and they are just as beautiful today, but I’m seriously thinking of a tune up since that was almost ten years ago.

Kansas gave the best Hydrafacial!! It was my first facial ever! She explained the entire process step by step and even gave me info specifically for my skin type and recommended products that are working great for my combination skin! I can't wait for my next appointment!

Kansas was my physician for my first chemical peel and she was so sweet and understanding and she worked with me on an acne treatment regimen. She is so personable and we had amazing convo the entire time. She was gentle and even with performing the extractions, it didn’t hurt. I definitely recommend her if you’re in need of this treatment.

Dr. Rawlings was very nice and thorough. He took his time with me and addressed all of my questions and concerns. He has great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. His nurse Jennifer was also very friendly.

Great Experience, kind and accommodating staff. Loved one had reduction, doc and staff very thorough and professional. Facility was scrupulously clean, every physician/nurse who laid a had on her came to us beforehand, answered any questions we had, and reassured us that they were taking the surgery and her health seriously. The difference in care we received at the surgery center was amazing when compared to our two previous surgeries (c-sections).

I had a consultation with Dr.Rawlings a week before Halloween and every worry I had disintegrated as soon as walked through the door. The young lady at the front desk (Chelsea i think) was great and friendly she made sure I had all my paperwork together and filled out correctly. The wait wasn't long at all, especially as a new paitent. Meeting dr.rawlings and his nurse was great. Both were very professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions and had awesome personalities, this would be my 1st major surgery, normally I'm anxious but I'm at ease hopefully my paperwork is sent and I'm approved because i am so excited to have him as a surgeon.
