Crab Shack On The Cotee River

This place is one of my favorite quiet little places to go. It's out-of-the-way and out of the riffraff. Plenty of parking lots of good people and amazing food. Their prices are a little bit higher but it's absolutely worth it compared to some of the other restaurants in the area that are in the same price range.it is definitely a very interesting place to go. You will not be disappointed in the food or the atmosphere.

If you don't stop and enjoy Port Richey, Crab Shack on the Cotee River, then you're letting life pass you by. Drive in or load up a boat full of friends and cruise up to the dock side. Great food, friendly waitress, and their lunch & dinner menu are full of great food. Better yet, they are NOW open for breakfast. What are you waiting for?

On Saturday nights, be prepared to get down a boogie. Best damn Salt Life, Hillbilly dance show in New Port Richey! Enjoy a cold draft beer, fresh seafood, and some of the best, nostalgic live music the Sun Coast has to offer. As the drinks flow, the dancing gets hotter, and someone WILL break a hip! Check it out!

Love this place. We go for the view, ambience, and the live music.

The food is hit and miss, so have stopped eating there. The pitchers of beer are cheaper than our club, and my specialty cocktail is full of alcohol and flavor.

I reckon the Crab Shack for a fun experience. During January through April you may have difficulty in finding a parking spot, and getting a table.

The food is fantastic for a bar scene. They are friendly and service was quick. They have the bar wrapped with heaters in the colder weather. It's right on the water and has a beautiful large deck out back, off the bar. They have draft beer and some craft beer options as well as a full bar.
I had a BLT and fries. Loaded with bacon and the bread was toasted and big like Texas toast. My husband ordered calamari fried. The breeding was perfect and the sauce was homemade or at least it tasted that way, he said.

This place is hidden away from the main road but a cool spot with good grub!!

We had a large group 7 of us on a Friday night. They were able to sit us right away. We got our drinks quickly, but food took a bit to come out. Everything was delicious. The Loaded Nachos with pulled pork was amazing! Served on french fries.

Unfortunately it was too busy & we were only wanting to grab a drink. But great atmosphere. Plenty seating but bar was full so no seats and we didn't want to take up a table for just drinks

The stuff is Amazing! And the food... Mmm... I'm in love with the fish here.
Just a note: maybe I'm just use to eat the rice and the beans from my mom, and don't taste like I like. But the rest, wonderful.
And the view to the river is refreshing.

Although this is an obscure location, it is on the Cotie River and when you eat outside, it's really great. The service was very good and the Captain's Platter was yummy.

The place is very good and nice 👍. The people are very friendly, the most part is the food is very very delicious. My wife and I when there for our anniversary.

We introduced our friends to Shark Bites last night. We had the absolute best time. We were seated right away and the service, drinks, food, music and environment were just perfect.

Wanted to try this place out since there is a new owner and it was amazing. Barbara is still bartending making delicious mixed drinks.
The food was amazing and plenty of it. I had the grouper tacos and fries my sister had Philly Steak quesadillas... Absolutely delicious.. Highly recommend. Digger , great job my friend..

What a gem! My mom and I love this place. It's amazing when you're there. They treat you amazing. Not much better get the steam shrimp calamari. Buffalo shrimp you will not be disappointed.

Open air, casual, rustic, breezy. Watch the boats on the river. Lots of different food items. Seven different items ordered, all fresh, hot, delicious. And yes, a few cats are wandering around. A fun, happy place. I'll be back.

Blackened shrimp tacos and grouper were wonderful

I didn't have any food there, but what I can say is their servers were on point. The place was packed and the servers never stopped. Empty trays were removed quickly, fresh drinks almost before you had to ask, and smiles for everyone. Great atmosphere!

Nice food. Nice atmosphere by the water. Our server was great. (Don't remember her name but she was pregnant)
Definitely try fish and chips and coconut shrimp
