The park is near and clean. They gave several areas to put in your canoo or kayak, go fishing off the beach, or, in my case, let the pooch go for a swim! There are also lots of swings and slides for the younger generation and a basketball area for teens and young adults. It's a beautiful park, out of the way, so it's not very crowded on the day I went. I'm looking forward to returning soon.

The Entrance is off US 19
Very nice park. The trails are very well signed.
If you're lucky you could see otters, tortoises and alligators!

The park manager and rangers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The Salt Springs Alliance (nonprofit organization benefitting the park), meetings are informative and a great way to offer ideas.

Great place for family time currently swimming hole is closed but nice park and view from tower is great
