Dave was phenomenal… There are not many companies out there who are honest and fair with their work and pricing. I was extremely happy that he rebuilt my son’s 2006 Ford Ranger transmission quickly, fairly priced, and the quality was spot on. He guarantees his work with a warranty as well. Professionals who know what to do and how to do it. For a fair price, they can fix almost everything (not only transmissions).

I have finally found an AMAZING mechanic shop. I brought my car in over 2weeks ago to get looked at and was given a decent price for the work that needed to be done on my impala (transmission) . I left my car with Dave and he promised me that it would be taken care of. That it would be done within a week
A week later I was called to come pick up my car that it was ready for me. Not only did Dave and his crew fix my transmission, but he also replaced my powersteering, battery, and fixed my alignment for me. Things I didn't not even ask him to fix. This man stands by his work, and his word. He is truly a blessing and a huge help. I know I'll never go to another mechanic shop again. Thank you Dave and all the crew down at discount transmission for getting me back on the road. You guys are worth every dime spent!!!

Dave has done work to many of my cars over the years he may not always give the news you'd like to hear but he's honest and explains things well. They are usually very busy so expect a wait with your car as good work takes time and his workers and shop can only do so much. Even when I couldn't afford to fix my car, Dave was there to offer a solution. Also has a reliable tow man named George he's the best!

I can't say enough great things about Dave the owner of Discount Transmission. I'm a mechanic myself for many years. My situation was, my son drove his truck from Pa to New Port Richey to visit his mother. Once there the truck develop some transmission problems, knowing I couldn't help my son, I was hoping to find an honest transmission center. I googled the area transmission centers and found Discount Transmissions. They have one of the highest ratings. I spoke to Dave the owner about my dilemma. After talking to Dave I could tell, I found the right repair center. Dave answer all my questions kept me informed and even asked my son to stay in the area for a little while to put some miles on the truck before heading back to PA. Dave then rechecked the transmission, ensuring me and my son he was good to return to Pa. From one Mechanic to another, Dave Thank you Thank you. A fair and honest, reputable man!!! Oh! and my son made it back to Pa with no issues.

Dave the owner explained in detail as to what my transmission needed and rebuilt it within the time frame stated. Great place to know about for all your auto repairs. Not just a transmission shop but an all around Mechnic shop.

My parents came in with their vehicle. There was a whole lot wrong with it and they did everything at fair prices. We went to other automotive shops for quotes and the parts alone would have cost more than what Dave quoted for the parts and labor. We thought we might be without a vehicle for a few days but they made sure we got it back early the next morning. Thank you for the excellent service and communication. I will definitely be coming back if I need more automotive work and I definitely recommend Discount Transmission to anyone that wants: friendly staff, speedy service and automotive repairs done at a fair price!

Dave is absolutely the best. Not always the cheapest in town but you get what you pay for. Warranties are honored without question, assessments and diagnostics are honest and the customer service is unparalleled. The shop is always super busy and turn around times can vary, I generally advise discussing your repair with Dave in advance and schedule a time to bring it in. I work for a local taxi company and Dave does all our fleet work as well as my personal cars, I would recommend him to anyone with out hesitation.

Had a noise coming from engine compartment, Dave got me right in and checked over the entire transmission which turned out to be fine. Recommended that I take my car which is a Volvo over to German Elite Auto which I did, they fixed my problem in just hours. Wanted to thank Dave for being so awesome and honest and for helping me find the place I needed to get my car fixed.

This place is top notch! As a woman I always hate having car issues 1)Because I know nothing about cars and 2)Because men always try to scare me/upsell me into getting services I don't need. Dave is AMAZING! He talked to me like a person not a dumb girl, and when I had questions he didnt scoff or react in anyway except positive. He explained everything to me and I have no doubt in my mind I was at the right place. From the first phone call until I picked my SUV there was nothing but respect and transparency. If I ever have issues in the future he has my business!
